Great demo Robbie. I've already got a PRS SE semi hollow and it's my main go to guitar out of about a dozen. The full hollowbody was too expensive for me, but now they've brought out this affordable SE version, it's on my list :-)

It resonates really nicely so I sometimes practice unplugged, eg late at night when I don’t want to disturb people. Noticeably louder and sweeter sounding than a solid body electric.

This has been at the top of my list for awhile now, almost purely because of the looks. I want a hollow body or semi-hollow because I'm hoping it'll be relatively light. I had a '72 Tobacco Sunburst LP and I've currently got a 335 and Tele Thinline. I'm hoping this guitar will have a little bit of all those guitars.

Visually its very appealing but I was actually blown away by how responsive this guitar is. I've never owned a hollowbody guitar and I think it's what I've been searching for to accentuate my melodic style. I keep this one at home now because it's set up so well...I have another one which I play live for the versatility of acoustic and electric tones...all I can say is...go and buy one.

Thank you for the compliment. This guitar was so well set-up it was unbelievable. As I mention in the review the intonation was the best I’ve heard on any guitar. The guitar plays just as it did when it arrived...it’s one of my favorites!

Hi jog, Than k you for the message. I always advocate that beginners start with a high-quality instrument that is easy to play and sound incredible. it's a guitar that will inspire you and make it easy to finger chords and scales. I wish I'd had a guitar as nice as this when I started playing. If you have the budget for an instrument like this I'd highly recommend it...also know that this will also be a pro-level guitar as you progress...which means it'll grow with you and stay one of the best guitars you'll ever own. Call me dumb here but how would one get to the electronics on this guitar of a pot was bad? there is no back cavity so I'm just curious.

With hollow body guitars you generally access all of the electronics by removing the pickups and using the opening that the picks were mounted in to get to everything else. It is still tricky trying to mount volume & tone pots along with switches and wiring. It requires a great deal of patience.

Robbie Calvo Sure.....I think the abalone birds go better with the blue. Also the black knobs are better with the blue burst, the amber knobs don’t look quite right to me against the brown. On mine there’s a better bit of veneer on the back than the front though.....grrr In the UK it’s deffo easier to find a brown one, everyone wants blue. I’ve only been playing for 7 months but this instrument has given me a big boost. Sounds great, feels great, keeps me practicing, just makes you want to pick it up. I love the lightness too, but it’s still so balanced, no neck dive

this guy is full on sell out. these guitars sure arent all that at all. they have a very china feel..i made the mistake of buying one online an how stupid is that without playing one first+ 1700 bucks , flush. they are pretty alright but playability is weak and its clumsy. ya think they sound great in the video check all the stuff hes running it through in the back ground. Go ahead and buy one then we can start a club

I'm sorry but that's not a carved top!! It's a 5 ply laminated maple with a flamed maple veneer for both the front and back...
