Great were those Goans who safely migrated the idols from Portuguese clutches by hiding in bushes and escaped and rebuilt the temples in Ponda and other parts of Goa and even in Karnataka.Great to witness the struggle of Hindu community of Goa in reconstructing these temples. Goan culture has very wide history.
