Admittedly, I still struggle with yellow/green leaning browns, Holo Tacos Need I say Mocha and Choco Holo is still struggle-shades for me. But caramels work, they're orange enough!

Or would they need even more yellow 🤔 but oof yeah the yellow leaning browns are tough too! I also remember not lovinggg Need I Say Mocha and being disappointed in Choco-Holo for being too yellow too! 😫 and ooh yeah caramels are gorg, is it weird I don’t consider true orangey caramels prugly?? I feel like a lot of people classify deep oranges as prugly 🤔🤔

I love Clover; i have plenty of ILNP holo jellies but it’s a particularly squishy one! It was them describing it as “juicy pear” that convinced me to get it; so appetizing and true for both the color and the texture.

Lol olive green is one of my favorite colors so I love these videos, it's like window shopping! ILNPs Olive Grove and Bishop are two of my favorite olive greens. And ILNPs Sparks May Fly is a fantastic dijon mustard color.

Ooo I actually really liked hayride! Had just enough orange in it to not be a weird toned light brown imo lol But thank you for sharing! I love how nail polish changes our taste over the years. You’re opening up to the “pruggles”, while I’ve been opening up to pinks! 😆 I feel like your notes on how the sparkle really changed your mind on some of those Olive shades is how I felt about pinks. @@PolishedYogi heck yeah blame the sparklies lol I know it’s not pink pink but my gate way into exploring more pinks.. Holotaco X Safiya’s Berry me in Holo. Didn’t try it on for months after purchasing the set… but after Orbite me came out I realized they were the same crushed holo formula. had to try them together and they instantly became one of my fav color combos. Then I dove into Solo mission, then pop rocker. And the curse has been lifted 😂 the first pink I purchased outside of a set was Velvet rose from MC. Absolutely gorgeous. 🤩

Great choices! I love a good prugly green or orange! Painted Polish makes some amazing ones! Also, Clover really is best in three coats. That first coat is a little scary, it looks like pickle juice! 😂

Those definitely qualify as 'prugly" (and remind me of 1970s kitchen colors)! Interesting that a lot of these type of shades are also considered autumn shades, so I know they'll look great on people w/ warmer skin tones (which is not me).

I just did a big destash and made up some nice nail polish kits with everything a good manicure needs to donate to a lower income school. It was a fun project and I hope to do it again next year!

I grew into the greens too! I still find it hard for the oranges though. As for browns, I don't like* the traditional too cool or too warm ones... 🙈 I also have my pruglies be in each respective "safe zone," kind of hard not to.

The only one of these I own is Not Pressed, and I impulsively bought it after seeing it topped with crackle polish, as I HAD to wear it for Halloween then, lol. But, I completely agree with you on it, that a couple of years ago I would have fully thought it was an awful ugly polish, but it’s actually gorgeous in its own way. I kinda like them all except the chartreuse shade. To me that’s prugly. The caramel shades I really like. The problem is I can’t wear them. They’re just the wrong colors for my skin tone. Change of taste is only half of it, I think it is also nailpolish creators having maybe more pigments or „additional thingies“ (like flakies) available. I draw the line when my nails look like I smoke 10 packs a day or my skin looks like its got Ekzema. I might push these lines further as I just received BKL Spelunking. Justice for Not Pressed! That was actually the only shade I bought from that collection. It's so easy to turn your nails into little green olives- I just add a spot of red at the tip to be the pimento. P.S. the caramel colors just look like peanut butter to me haha

Olive shades are tricky, arent they? They have to have the perfect balance of yellow and green for me to like them. Most of these aren't colors I'd personally reach for; however, Olive Grove is actually the shade that prompted me to order from ILNP (which is now my favorite brand). The gold shimmer in it just does something for me and I'll gladly wear it year round.
