You are doing a great job. There sure seem to be a lot of steps!

Yes, it sounds like newer XLs can skip some but there are more modifications than I expected! Thanks!

Not gonna lie... $520 for this "enclosure" is CRAZY, considering that alone like almost half the price of a FULLY enclosed Voron 2.4 R2 350...

It's a lot especially without a camera. Thanks!

This contraption built by Prusa is far to expensive and complicated. I build my own on a cart so it's portable for under $300 and is a lot easier to work around. I like my Prusa Mk4 and XL but this thing is 'over-engineered' to be 'cool' and just does win.

Does yours have a similar open space to pull prints off the plate? Thanks!

@@tada3dprinting 3 sided lexan front cover for front and sides held on with magnets. and a lexan box lifts of the top along with a few brackets to align it. Not air tight but does not need to be in my garage. It does hold the heat. 100% access when removed in less than a minute.

The fact that the enclosure costs more than a lot of really good printers with big build volumes and fully enclosed while still needing hours and hours of assembly for an enclosure is a major swing and a miss for Prusa. This is such a half baked solution that is over complicated and over priced. Prusa really needs to figure out some DFM and DFA on these machines.

I am wondering if they will offer a more assembled version in the future. But at this point, the machine and the enclosure are getting so large, I'm sure they would be pricey to ship. I'm curious if they will streamline this and create a smaller enclosed coreXY version in the future. But yes the price and time are a lot!
