Prusa XL Enclosure Build Chapter 4 - Nextruder Upgrade

Just finished my XL enclosure build today and I really enjoyed the building process. It took me 3 days ~5 hours to complete all the upgrade. I have 5 toolhead semi-assembled one.

There's some nice small electric drivers with hex bits that are serious time savers with this work. I'll do it by hand when I get towards the end of something. But for loosening or driving in long screws, it's a time saver. Skil makes a nice driver that's like 20 bucks and USBC chargeable.

I did those 1 at the time. Also.. it's not mentioned in the assembly instructions but i asked someone from Prusa Customer support and he recommend to do the docking calibration on all extruders and the tool offset calibration. I think it should be okay without doing it because nothing should has changed but... to be sure it did what he suggested anyway.

Did you lose your mind by the 5th? Yes I did end up redoing all calibrations especially because I had moved the printed a couple of times. Thanks!

It looks like the same parts as that come with the MK4S upgrade (also a nextruder). There they indicated they have been printed from a different material, a CA blend if I remember correctly. Old ones are PETG. I believe they said that these parts could change shape over time when printed from PETG. Wonder if they are going to provide upgrade kits for XL owners that do not want the enclosure.

I just checked the store, you can order these parts separately. They are printed in PCCF, and are the exact same as for the MK4S.
