To Peel or NOT to peel. THAT is the question at hand.
YES, Peels are something you definitely should be incorporating in to your skincare routine, or seasonal skincare switch up.
BUT, do you have to PEEL in order to reap the benefits of a traditional peel?
The answer is, NO. No you don't.
We use peels for a multitude of reasons, and to address various concerns.
For ME, I mostly like peel for the brightening and smoothing of texture...but most importantly COLLAGEN COLLAGEN COLLAGEN.
Technology has come a long way, and now there are options for people who don't have the time to sit home for a week to shed like a snake.
I'm one of those people that can't take the time off for the downtime associated with deeper peels.
I love TCA for its multitude of benefits, and now I'm able to reap those benefits w/o the downtime of a 5-7 day skin shed. Woot Woot!

PRXT33 contains 33% TCA, 5% Kojic Acid, and Hydrogen Peroxide, and some stabilizing ingredients.
-TCA Helps stimulate collagen and fibroblast production in the deeper layers of the dermis. TCA can help treat dilated pores, depressed and superficial scars, and can help to strengthen the skin, while giving overall hydration. TCA also helps to smooth the skin surface for a super soft texture.
-Kojic Acid helps to brighten the complexion by inhibiting the production of ----Tyrosine. This is the enzyme responsible for melanin production.
This also helps the skin not become photosensitive when using the peel.
-Hydrogen Peroxide helps to prevent damage to the surface layers of the skin.
As you can see, there's a lot of benefits going on here.
So you see, you actually don't have to have that week long shedding to reap the benefits of a TCA peel, and this WORKS for me!
It's recommended to perform 3-5 treatments, waiting 7days between each treatment to achieve the best results.
Follow along for this simple to use tutorial on how I used the peel at home.
During my course of treatment, I experienced no discomfort or sensitivity.
I didn't stop the use of my Tretinoin before use, although it is recommended to discontinue use a few days prior.
During the course of treatment, there was very mild flaking, but nothing anyone noticed. My skin felt great, was glowing, and there was no irritation.
I definitely recommend trying this peel if you haven’t already! :)
I purchased an entrire box which contained 5 4ml Vials of solution.
Each vial can give 2-3 peels if JUST treating the face.
This box cost me $273.00 USD which included shipping from Spain.
I purchased my product from DPI Cosmetology.

This product is medical grade, that's why you need a license to be able to buy and apply. PRX Derm Perfexion (used to be PRX T33) should be used along with a P solution, avoid retinol and any other acids 1 wk prior to prevent skin irritation. The home care is very important, it consists of a Fluid (glycolic acid) which will extend the cell turnover, and a moisturizer with healing components. This ptoduct is also good for all skin types on the Fitzpatrick scale. FYI your vial looks too yellow. This means the product was not refrigerated and/or it has expired. Although it wont damage your skin... It won't work. I am a distributor in the US, happy to help with any questions.

It gets a bit shiny for a day and sloughs maybe a little bit. I know it is supposed to be a minimal downtime product but I'm not feeling confident that much of anything has happened. Yes, that would be normal. These no peel products aren’t supposed to slough off the outer layer of your skin. They bypass the stratum corneum to deliver the ingredients within the skin. The whole point of these peels are to NOT have peeling. Everything is happening underneath the skin. Because is this, that’s why the treatment is done In a series (5 treatments)…1 treatment every 7-10 days 😊💛🙏🏻

My experience with it tells me that it depends on the state of your skin and your skincare protocol on a day-to-day basis. When I did this for the first time, I had tired skin, close to no skincare routine because I was only moisturizing (even that, only in the morning). At first, I did it only once and started being more serious with my skincare (but still, basic: cleanser, moisturizer and face sheets masks). 3 weeks after this first PRX, I was told my face looked wonderful and waaaaayyy better than before. I went back and had another one 6 months after. Meantime, I reached a more thorough skincare routine (thank you, YT). I didn't see any results except some smoothness and a tiny brighter face. And then, after 3 PRX, I finally saw the awesomeness (is that a word?) of this peel: shrinking of the pores, a lot of my hyperpigmentation was gone, etc. Basically, I almost reached glass skin. So yes, I think it depends on the condition of your skin and how invested you are in your skincare routine prior to it. No skincare, visible results after 1 PRX (it's like a shock treatment) With skincare, the "wow" will be after 2 or 3.

I can’t wait to do the comparison and share it too! My initial thoughts: BioRePeel is more comfortable during the treatment despite it having 2% more TCA. Each brand is pretty comparable, and it would be really hard to choose. It’s almost like splitting hairs. I’m not going to give away much, as that would deter the filling of my video, haha ;) But either one you choose, you’ll get wonderful results! It’s really tough decision. Stay tuned 🤗💛😊

The recommendation is a single peel done every 7-10 days. You may repeat that process 3-5 times, which would be a series. It’s recommended to only have 1 series of the peel per year. I’m not saying to disregard manufactures directions, but those are their recs. Other peels say you can do 2 series per year. This peel is stronger than the others, being 35% VS 33%. Whether that’s a reason or not, is beyond me. Personally, I think it really depends on your skin and what your using, etc. I always listen to my skin. For me….If I felt like my skin needed another round, I’d do it…but maybe do 1/2 a series. At the need if the day, you want to keep your skin barrier in tact….so just listen to your skin 😊💛🙏🏻

Thank you so much for this video. I went to the dermatologist 2 days ago. Had no idea about this new treatment so wanted to do some research and I found your review. I was looking forward to try and although is not v affordable I was willing to spend some of my savings on this tbh ( since the 4-session treatment costs 1,200 us dls ). From what they told me and the research I’ve been doing it sounds amazing but I am still reluctant to pay that much🥺 I wish I had a certification, unfortunately I don’t. I haven’t found other reliable options. I have other videos posted about similar products. BIENPEEL is a great alternative, and I like it much better. A few distributors I work with carry the product. See the descriptions and check the vendors I work with :) Its definitely more affordable than going in to the derm office, but results from this will take more treatments, and more time…which I’m totally ok with. 💛😊🙏🏻

I’m not sure what you’re asking? This peel is done on clean dry skin, then a moisturizer after the peel is complete. If done during daylight hours, sunscreen should be applied as well. 🙏🏻😊💛

That’s because none of the Korean vendors carry this product. They have other peels. I didn’t suggest my distributors carry this product. As mentioned in the descriptions, I purchased this from DPI cosmetology in Spain. 1) you must be licensed in the cosmetology field or medical field to our base from them. 2) They no longer ship to USA. If you’re looking for an alternative, AceCosm has the BIEN PEEL, which is very comparable.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am 55yrs old this month. Have decent skin for my age except for the laxity. I just had my first PRX-T33 peel yesterday. My face felt like it was on fire but its ok. I managed it. I paid $250 for it and have 3 more scheduled. I had no idea I could get ahold of this stuff on my own. My daughter is a hair dresser. Do you know where or how my daughter can obtain some? I'm hesitant to order myself from some random company online as I don't know the quality of what I'm getting, but this would certainly save me a fortune!

I’m not familiar with this company…but the do say a vial is 40.00, plus 7% tax, plus whatever other taxes, and shipping costs. With my discount through Acecosm, you’re paying 34/per vial and each one has multiple treatments. One vial won’t give you the benefits listed. A course of treatments will give you the results mentioned. Trust me, I would much rather spend 40.00 to try something than 190.00. I totally get it. If you purchase from the NSO company, please see if other ppl have used them before too and had a good experience. 🙏🏻😊💛

You should not do it unless you’re certified and trained in prx peel 🤦🏻‍♀️ there is much more to it than you presented. Also you have to use P solution before you apply prx and it is a 4 step treatment and only showed how to apply prx. Tca 33% is a medium grade acid and should not be used unless you really know what you’re doing 🤦🏻‍♀️
