Hey Mitch, I have one of those reels that divers use, I seen some people using that for their kayak anchor. Hopefully I can attach that to the Hanson the front or something

Nice vid mate, I am trying to get the same set as now it's under $1000 at BCF. Which battery did u choose? Does the battery slip anytime during the trip?
@MitchieVentures Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching mate. I got it on special too for 999 I chose a battery of marketplace though a local bloke has them 75 ah for $50 was hard to beat but. No slippage i have noticed at all i move the battery around as well to distribute the weight a bit better. Think ill out it up front and run a lead. Honestly you can’t go wrong with it apart from the fin being a pain in the shallows Got stuck and lost it the other day i will find it again though 😂..

Hey Mitch, how do you go washing it down and drying it? Does it have parts that need to be washed separately?
@MitchieVentures7 ай бұрын
Hey mate sorry I didn’t see this till just now. It pretty easy to do i roll it out a t home and give it a hose and let it dry it drys quickly in tye sun

Hey Mitch, do you know how much your motor weighs and what battery are you running? Does your motor bracket sag at all? I think the 60lb thrust motor I have might be too heavy for this. Thoughts?
@MitchieVentures11 ай бұрын
Hey im not sure of the exact weight if the combo i have but as for the motor bracket it handles it fine and could take more in my opinion. I do want to move the battery to the front for better and more evenly balanced on the water 💧 id be keen to see a bigger motor on it. Im already looking for something a little bigger not that it needs it really moves around at 6 to 8 knots with current and 4 to 5 against it so far I’ve found. Cheers for watching mate I appreciate it a lot

Hey mate Thanks for watching 😃 I run a 75ah agm at the moment runs me all day i have not ran it dead yet. Gonna pair it with a small panel of some sort and dare say it will run forever. Doing a video run down of my whole set up very soon pros and cons kind of deal. Don’t forget to Subscribe and hit the notification bell if you’re keen on that seeing that video. If you can afford a lithium definitely do that. Worth the weight saving alone Have a great day mate

does it pop easily?
@MitchieVentures11 ай бұрын
No not at all. Look at the inflated rapid rafts. Same stuff very tough and durable.. Don’t take to it with a knife and you will be sweet as.. Even if you did I think it would hold up surprisingly well haha. Thanks for watching good luck with it Cheers 🍻
@Nuxzy_6 ай бұрын
how easy do you think it would be to pop with a stray treble or hook?
@MitchieVentures6 ай бұрын
Its made of the same stuff they hook down rapids on and bounce of rocks and stuff Its really tough stuff you would have to be really unlucky or have hooks laying about willy nilly. If your pay half attention to your hooks when cast you will be right i pay not attention and had no issues the weakest part and the most vulnerable would be the floor if you stood on a sharp something and it pin pricked through the eva foam but even then its going to be a really slow leak and easily fixed if that was to happen

Fix the water pump. Those are cheap.
@MitchieVentures10 ай бұрын
I did mate. Thing is i don’t have much of my own work space atm to work on my stuff myself and have minimal access to the tooling needed for the job so have to get a real mechanic which costs the dollars 💵. Anyway cost me a 1k which is what the car cost me to buy and i know the part is only like 70 bucks to buys because ive own this exact model of car before and did the water pump in that one ☝️. Of coarse he found some belts that need replacement too 😝. Im a 4x4 camper type person so im watching what i spend on a car of no value because i will be upgrading in the future and don’t want to over capitalise on this car which i have already kinda done just getting the pump fixed. #divorcesucks
