Joe Frazier is my favorite punch set so far in career mode. Walk them down into a corner with body shots then hit them in the head with nukes. Also fun fact for boxing fans and Hajime no Ippo enjoyers, If you combo Joe Fraziers power hooks together it's an actual Dempsey Roll. Ducking under incoming counter shots and all. It's become my go-to strategy for an opponent who gets trapped in the corner. P.S I dont play online in fight sim games so don't get mad at me for power spamming people 😅 however even if I did I think what I described is one of the few non cheap ways to link power shots.

Also his step in normal left hook is one of the best distance closers I've found in the game. You literally leap forward while you throw it. It's the only gazelle punch I've found. But I only have about 15 hours in the game tops

I remember when Fight Night Round 4 released I hated the full spectrum punch control but after playing for a while I learned the game and started to appreciate the game and it became my favorite boxing game ever. I think that undisputed will become a great legendary game with time and updates

The left hook can be used a lot faster, if you lead with a jab. Throw that first and then go to the hook, and you’ll see how quick Frazier gets on the inside

@@dbuu4453 i just mean not all fighters can throw a hook to the body the same as to the head and this game basically ignores that. obviously not a boxer but look at Aldo, if he was in the game for example I’d give him a 96 lead hook the body and mediocre hooks up top. I just expected it tbh, considering it’s a boxing game but I’m just knit picking.

Hell nah 🤣 I think it’s solely based on damage. I almost exclusively go for counter punches and jabs and power punch spammers almost always win the rounds, even when I’m dominating the fight stat wise.

It seems no one uses the left stick slip. If you click the left stick while pressing in any direction he just does a quick dip with feet planted.

@@GodswillUkpong-y1z it’s not the one where you flick the LS in any direction and he like steps back quick or left or right, it’s the one you actually click in the LS while it is being held in any direction. If that’s the one you do then yes. But many many ppl don’t even know about it yet. It’s starting to get out tho. It’s like the ufc slips where your feet are planted and you just bend at the waist.

@@LJT9393 nah I know about that, those slips aren’t good in the game atm I really don’t recommend doing it. You can time a slip perfectly and still get hit because the punch tracking in the game is just insane

Roy has awful blocking mechanics in this He did bring his hands to his face to block at times not just leaning back the whole fight

🔥 In order to block effectively with Roy you have to hold block and L2 to keep both hands up. 🔥 You have to know how to play effectively with each boxer because the mechanics are different for them all. 💯

I’ve always preferred the wide angle cam but it could still be improved. I would like a more cinematic slow panning camera higher and further back so we could see most of the ring at all times. It would also be nice if they could figure out how to make the boxers completely circle around each other rather than the camera just swinging in a certain direction.
