Portable consoles is very popular in Japan yes. They also like home consoles but since many do not have time to be at home alot the handhelds is perfect for them to quickly get some gaming while they're at break.

im glad the ps vita is alive and loved somewhere. it still has a group of people that support it. ive always been a nintendo guy loving my 3ds for the past 4yrs. i recently decided to get the vita and im soo happy with this handheld. at first i wasnt too happy with the game library but tbh persona4,sword art online, killzone, need for speed, rayman .....loving them all. really disappointed that sony killed it and wish they continued makin good games for it! nintendos awesome game library is what helped the 3ds. i still recommend the ps vita !

This is why I love Japan. I ordered a 60GB CECHA00 Japanese PS3 console and it's beautiful. The company took care of it. I got everything included. The box, manuals, game console, AV cords, Ethernet cable, power cord, USB cord and DUALSHOCK 3 controller. It was cheap too. Thank you, Japan! ❤❤

There are hardly any PlayStation Vita games in my area! I live in a city of 36,000, but Saginaw, which is to the south west is a better place to game collect. I see a larger plethora of titles, like less common games, quite a bit cheaper as well! Bay Shitty is where I live
