Some time ago, research was conducted on the unused ps vita fat connector, which, as it turned out, can be used, and in addition, the slim version allows you to use the same functions of this connector in micro usb. And as it turned out, this connector can be used to connect external drives, for example via otg. So using usb in the ps vita is possible, but not yet available to the end user.

for me this is how i put it: 1.ps vita fat es better but u need a vita sd card to crack the device, thankfully a 4gb one is cheap enough for how many things u can do with a vita 2.slim is lighter and u dont need a vita sd car to crack it but it has an lcd screen 3.vita tv works great for games that dont need the back touch screen but honestly for me the vita is a portable console so i play it portable but it all depends of what games you play so in conclusion, i went with a vita fat, i put a 400gb sd card after cracking it with a vita sd 4gb, i put an amazon grip on it and a side for having some problems with some plugins im happy with it.

@@ZealousChuck the only two things I don't like about the vita are the lack of real r2 l2 and the fact that my right thumb always is on top pressing the right thumbstick but for a portable device with more games that I can play I'll give it a pass on those xd

I have a fat and i really enjoy the bulk, premium feel, and especially the screen. My favorite system is the switch so the fat having oled (as well as the smaller ergonomic size) help differentiate it for me.

Nice . The only one I haven't had is slim . I sold my ps TV with 8gb for 80€ , 3 years ago because I needed money , but I still have a WiFi oled and a new 3g one 🙂(with micro usb connector, because I bought it with broken connector and a friend of mine put a micro usb instead of original 😁)

@@ZealousChuck the downsize is that I can Only charge it , I can not transfer data via the cable , but this is why I have sd2vita and thinking of getting the 3g microsd2vita module (I don't really know the name , but you get what am I saying)

I loved the system so much I bought all 3 versions of it. My Oled is for my physical games but my slim and TV are going to be hacked, mostly to be used as emulators. I hadn't modded them yet but was going to do that in the next month, looks like I'll have to wait longer now since I noticed an update prompt today. I'll want the latest version of the hack so I can still access my download list in the store so I can copy everything I already have.

I bought a vita and a PS TV many years ago on a whim and I still use them today with homebrew on my ps tv. I haven’t yet added homebrew to my vita cause I don’t know anything about sd2vita. I’ve tried using a hard drive on my ps tv but haven’t had any luck. I just use a flash drive instead.

In my opinion OLED screen on Vita 1000 is massively overrated and overhyped. Mura effect is just 🤮🤮🤮, draws more power, looks a bit oversaturated. LCD Vita all the way!
