if safe mode doesnt work for you use this method. : turn off the vita, press and hold the power button to turn it back on, keep it pressed until you see the home screen, lift your finger for a short moment and then keep pressing the power button again. The vita should boot into safe mode. Testet it several times and on my vita it seems to be the only way into safe mode. (credits:this is from Lupo Lucario)

I Screwed my Vita.. So when my vita gets freeze in the middle of deleting files, I got panic and automatically press the home button and close the tab, but when I try access to my vita shells back, I received that kind of message "The File Is Corrupt", and this doesn't just applies in my vita shell, but also the rest of my Jailbreaking/game applications that are seems to be located in my external vita memory card, and when I follow your video, the message changes to "Insert a PS Vita card that contains this application". I ended up deleting my vita shells, cuz I thought it might be the case, but no, the errors keep appearing everytime I try to open any apps.. Keep in mind, I was able to jailbreak my ps vita through some guy's yt video, he said to delete some apps that's unnecessary to keep, but now I realized if It's important (Molecular Shell such), and now I helpless, if anyone like to offer some help or solution I would be so appreciated.

Didn't work. I keep getting "The file is corrupt" message when I try to open "VitaShell". Then if I try to open "h-encor" I get the "The file is corrupt" message. I also reinstall "VitaShell" via "h-encor", but I still get the "The file is corrupt" message when I go to open "VitaShell". Other than having to start from scratch. Just for a tip try to just restart it first without taking anything out. It worked for me like that just a simple power off and power on got it back working

This method helped me (Henkaku 3.65): 1) Settings ---> Format ---> Format Memory Card (the system will restart) 2) Settings ---> Devices ---> Storage Devices ---> Use YAMT 3) Settings ---> Henkaku Settings ---> Reboot Device The system will reboot and all installed games will appear and work as before.

Found out the h encore I was using to patch wasnt a full version some how was only 13 mb if you have this issue I advise going to h encores set up page and following it again to repair it and vita shell fully

I almost had a heart attack. I was in the middle of a game and it crashed. Any app or game i tried opening said it was corrupted. Restarted the vita. All my homebrew apps and games were gone. hey man so I'm having an issue where my vita memory card just won't reformat at all. so I end up restoring the entire console and the card with then start working as long as I power down the system and power it back on. but here's where it gets weird, whenever I start to re install games after about 10 games I'll get a message warning me not to remove the memory card even though I didn't. any way of fixing this error ?

When i rebuild database the hacked ps vita works, if i restart it normally everything is either corrupted or i need to insert a card for this application (even if its Vitashell or autoplugins) i really dont feel like rehacking my vita again this is an eye roller. @@devujaerror8387 it happens at random like when am playing a game or just looking at some homebrew apps, then the background image starts getting choppy then the whole screen goes black and shows me the error. I have to wait a while for it to automatically restart or I just force shutdown then turn it back on. This helped me thanks, I think the problem is my system was bumped or fell and the SD2vita stopped being read, cleaning and re-seating then rebooting fixed that 👍🏾
