Followed this tutorial with the added guide from comments because i upgrading to 512gb. At the end, my psvita recognize the new memory card but none of the files. I checked the systems setting within the vita and see the correct size. All the games and hombrew apps aren't there, but the vita is still henkaku. I put the old sd and everything is working fine. i put the new one back to pc and the files that i just copied are there. So what did i missed?

The 1000 model dpads suck in that you can't jump forward or backwards in street fighter; can't easily do diagonal. The buttons need an extra 1mm of thickness essentially. They fixed it in subsequent PSPs though but this was a huge oversight during the initial development

I upgraded from 128gb to 256gb. I used 64kb for the allocation size and unchecked the box for protected operating system files as well. Vita works perfectly fine and seemingly everything transferred correctly. However, there was a discrepancy of 2 gb when I checked to see if the used storage spaces was the same - my new 256 gb card had 2 gb of less used space. Was kinda worried, but I think it should be fine based on a few google searches. Every sd card has a different sector size which impacts how it will store files. It can lead to a few size differences when transferring from one card to another if the total size of the cards have a big difference. Also, the way that your computer transfers the files could also cause differences since it has to compress some of the data to ensure that it doesn't take forever to finish. But all of that is to say that it will probably be fine if the two storage sizes aren't exactly the same
