PS Waverley Lochranza, first visit to Isle of Arran of 2023!

P.S. Waverley visiting Lochranza pier having just sailed up from Campbeltown at Kintyre. Lovely :-)
The World's last sea-going paddle steamer, built right after the 2nd World War in 1946, and still going strong.
The vessel looked amazing against the beautiful backdrop and with lovely weather as well, to be honest it took my breath away. Just pure magic!
To be standing only a few feet away, able to easily hear everything that was said and done, and the sound of the paddles as well....what a privilege!

Hi Dave, Brilliant video. Never knew Waverley visited Lochranza, always thought she only called in at Brodick. The GRAND OLD LADY still looking resplendent and going strong. I have been on her at least 3 times in the time between1990-1993 (2 sailings around Holy Isle and a day trip to Rothsay.

Lovely video. Surprised she wasn't busier then realised it was a Campbeltown sail which is quite a long sail for some but great weather unlike the same sail on 25th June which after a lot of rain became sunny!
