And I thought drifting a Sprint Cup car in GT5 was awesome... Looked like freakin' Initial D with those drifts, guy! But yeah, always loved Paintball Mode. I'd always just sit in a corner and wait for the pack to come around, then, BOOM. LASERS. Always won by process of elimination.

I loved (and still love, to a certain degree...) the EA Sports games. Yeah, the Papyrus sims and iRacing do a heck of a better job simulating the NASCAR experience, but NASCAR '98 to '00 were just plain fun, mainly because they didn't take themselves too seriously. NASCAR Rumble is a perfect example of that, and is a terrific game because of it! The newer ones are just meh, I find...

Yes. That configuration still exists, although somewhat modified. IndyCar, motorcycles, and the World Touring Car Championship use it, while NASCAR uses the shorter configuration.

Yes. That was like the main layour until maybe early 2000's. There is still a very similar layout with that infield section for some series. Somebody said they even brought back this exact layout. I was there for Nascar in 2001. I believe it was this layout. It was epic.

@vidEvWill not really. johhny benson is a good driver. 1996 cup rookie of the year, 1997 11th in points, 1998 was running awesome until roush gave him the R&D stuff, 2000 almost one the daytona 500 in an unsponsored underfunded team, 2001 was one of the best drivers all season, 2002 first cup win, 2008 truck champ and b4 that logged many wins in trucks. and he is one hell of a short tracker over here in his hometown area in marne, MI
