Kagami isn't a generic sexy bad girl. She's a sexy bad girl with depth, character, personality, and is overall a great female big bad. Not to mention, a badass dark action girl in the boss battles against her and in some of the cutscenes.

Thank you for putting this together. It's an amazing story line from and awesome game. They definitely shouldn't remake this as they would probably ruin it. It's nice to see the full story in order like a movie. I played all three campaigns when this came out years ago but it is better to see it all in one sequence. Very emotional and proof that your don't meg amazing graphics "live service" to create something magical. Game developers these days could learn a lot of finishing their products to this stage before release and not just releasing unfinished junk that needs constant patching and DLC.

Man the atmosphere the chars tatsumaru suzaku always come back and watch this again even if it just fictional but it well written and the music is good too. Very well made Tenchu 2 in HD would be great. Never will happen sadly. My childhood is kinda me playing this game so many times and get Grand Master more and more on all missions after playing it so much cuz I loved the ATMOSPHERE. The rain is so nice also with the weather effects. Man I would love to see that Game IN HD.

I just love this game. You fight "bad guys" sure....but this is more about a different ideology than good vs evil. Tenchu 1 you fight a fucking lord of hell, there is no morally grey area. This game goes more on that area, which makes for a better story.

@@SeanCaMall The "bad guys" are mostly fighting because they want independance, and not be used as puppets/slaves to the higher lords. In their culture, a ninja means nothing more than being a tool for their master. Rikimaru considers this an honor. Tatsumaru considers this both an honor and a burden. While the bad guys here (save for Onikage obviously) do have personal pride but they want to be their own person, something their lords would never allow them to be (it would be equal to betrayal and probably making them fugitives permanently, potentially given the death penalty as well). Tatsumaru lost his memory, but when he regained it he agreed with Kagami's dream. But as he stated; he never agreed with her methods (to a degree she doesnt like what she does either, she considers it a means to an end). In the end it comes down to loyalty to one's lord, or loyalty to one's self.

The bad guys, kidnapped kids, enslaved peoples, and only wanted power positions as "generals" at Kagami's dictatorship...they only wanted power, not independance, so they're bad, not "bad". The feudalism maybe was not a regime, but Godah was benevolent, a good lord, but Todah wasn't...it depends. But Godah was a better person and leads his feud better than Kagami and Todah.

@@SeanCaMall of course, and its part of the reason Rikimaru, or the Azuma Ninja Clan in general, support their Lord. He was kind (too kind), benevolent, and just. So in him they saw all the good of a Lord. But Kagami saw Todah, who was greedy, honorless, and would sacrifice everyone around him just for power alone. Im not entirely sure how seriously to take her "a world ruled by ninja" statement, but at the very least she wanted to have the ninja break free of being mere sacrificial tools. Its important to note that ninjas were considered the bottom of the barrel by lords and feudal soldiers alike. The Samurai/Ninja mutual dislike was mostly because of that; Samurai hated the "honorless" way ninja dealt with their opponents, while ninjas resented their treatment because of that. To go back to my original statement, I dont really feel it was a simple "good versus bad" situation like in tenchu 1, where it was us (the good guys) vs a demonic overlord and cult (Mei-Oh, Onikage, the Manji Cult), but something at least a bit deeper.

I like all the subtleties in the storytelling, such as how Rikimaru understands Ayane plans to jump and as such tells the truth when he says Ayame isn't on the boat. It is a shame some things were kind of lost in localisation, like Kagami holding back sobbing rather than coughing during the quarantine village scene.

I freaking love this game! One of my all time favourite games & storylines. They seriously need to remake this either On the PS3 or PS4. Alot of the music in this is awesome especially that Shamisen piece when Tatsumaru meets Lady Kagami. I agree as well how the voice actors are right into their characters. It's really good! I'm having tenchu withdrawals. It would be awesome if they make a movie. This would be a super movie if they stick to the storytelling.

Wonderfully done, EpicRickyC! So many fond memories flooding back... ***SPOILERS AHEAD*** I'll never forget the delicious "Holy sh*t!" moment when Su-Zaku was revealed to be none other than Onikage! :-) And as soon as you find out, you wonder how it had never occurred to you before. The writing was SO on the wall, both in appearance and personality -- not to mention some not-so-subtle musical clues -- throughout the whole game LOL I even noticed something new as I watched this time: Su-Zaku (aka Onikage) is carving a statuette of Mei-Oh in the cave scene wherein Seiryu (aka Tatsumaru) is being introduced to the other Lords of the Burning Dawn. And a special shout-out to the late Mary Kay Bergman for her fine voiceover work as Kagami. Renowned for the many female voices she provided on South Park, this was one of her final vocal performances before she tragically took her own life. A fact that makes her moving death scene on the deck of the Fire Demon all the more poignant :-(

Today game developers forgot how to make games. Today every enemy will always be on same place and every game have same camera and same controls. games are dead. Original RE 3 Nemesis was different every time it was played and which areas player visit first. Are you going to tell me RE3 demake is better because it have modern graphics? They destroyed RE2 also removing zapping system, making Mr. X dumb that only follows player which he suck at because he slow and game is short so even if he is treat, player can just throw flash granade.
