After the Dreamcast I moved on to the XBOX. Games like Panzer Dragoon orta , Jet Set Radio future, gun Valkyrie, and Dead or Alive 3 made me choose the Xbox back in the 00's.

PlayStation 2, final fantasy X and X2, metal gear solid 2, Ico, shadow of the colloss, resident evil code veronica, god of war, sly racoon games, forbidden siren 1 and 2 also haunting ground. Tomb raider was the jump to PS2 playing 1-5 back on the PS1, when Angel of darkness came out it blew me away at tge time despite it not being a finished game etc. Never had any Xbox consoles cant say much for that. Im still PlayStation to this day with PS5. 🥰🙏♥️🌟🎮

OG Xbox had one of the coolest abstract minimalistic future UIs of all time , right up there with 360s "Blades" UI from 2005 - 2007 , and PS3/PSP's XMB UI.

I played the PS2 for a long time. But when i got the Xbox with 12 months of Xbox live for free it was on another level. I’ve been an Xbox player since and i even stuck with it during the Xbox One disaster of a launch. Halo, Halo 2, Full Spectrum Warrior, Knights of the old republic and Forza Motorsport are my list.

After the PlayStation 1, I went to the PlayStation 2. Gran Turismo 3, Final Fantasy X, Metal Gear Solid 2 and NBA Street 1 was what made me choose the PlayStation 2.

Although Rumble´s picks are my thing and not Scarole´s, it´s very interesting that we can clearly see two completely different types of players. Scarole´s list is not for everyone for sure, and I wish I could be able to play those games, but I may not have what it takes to do so, haha.

Back in the day i was a ps and Nintendo guy, but then my bestie brought over fable, and so when fable 2 came out i got my 360 and I've been an Xbox gamer ever since.

Nice! Fable is a great way to spend your time on Xbox. I recently replayed Fable III, and although it wasn't everyone's favorite, I still enjoyed it. Fable II was also good! -Rumble

I never had the PS2 and the OG Xbox back in the day. I was PC Only those times. But later i got the Gamecube and the PS2 and play the OG XBox Games on the Series Console (not all)

haha true! Big question! Let’s hear about OG Xbox, if you’ve been playing those on the Series consoles I’d be curious to know which ones have passed the test of time. Some games can be really hard to go back to after so much console evolution. -Scarole

@@ScaroleRumble For me Jade Empire is still a Great Game. Also all Games by The Collective (Indy and Star Wars Episode 3) were both good but i need to check more out :) Maybe i will do a video about it someday we'll see

I never bothered with the original Xbox it was ahead of its time and I just thought some of the exclusives were lame. I didn't really get into Xbox until the Xbox 360 it just got better from there. I just personally think the Xbox 360 generation is the greatest generation of all time for Xbox. there's an Xbox 360 hard drive that supports backwards compatibility for original Xbox games Dead or Alive 3 Halo 1 and 2 and Stubbs the Zombie these were like the only exclusives I actually thought were fun and I played them with the backwards compatibility on the 360. I just prefer the PlayStation 2 backwards compatibility with PlayStation 1 games and I personally think the PS2 has the best horror selection too. the PS2 also supports PlayStation 1 controllers and memory cards. and of course it has a DVD player go figure. yes the original Xbox has better graphics although some people believe the GameCube has better graphics.

I would side with Scarole because Persona 3 right off, but for me, the Xenosaga series, pretentious as it is, made PS2 worth it for me beyond Persona 3. That said, I can't ignore Rumble but for me it was ES4 Oblivion. My wife is, as I type, no lie, modding Oblivion 19 years on! I suppose it is too hard to choose. We followed the games and had them both. No regrets!

Ohhh Xenosaga! Those ones are starting to come down a bit in price, and we hope to add them soon to our collection! 🥰 The Elder Scroll games are AMAZING!! There is absolutely no shame in giving any of those games lots of love they deserve it and are so unlimited in replayability! When I think of Oblivion I am always brought back to Madgod Sheogorath's Realm 😂 -Scarole

MAX PAYNE! 🥰🥺 One of my favorite games Rumble. I haven’t played Dark Cloud yet but have them and now will have to put all my points into Chill & Exorcism so I can be the coolest character in the game til I have to exorcise things 😂. Great recommendations on both consoles 👏 would agree on both!

Those are some amazing picks for both consoles! 😍 I am a huge fan of the Suikoden series too-we definitely need more of them in our collection, but they can be pretty pricey 😢 I'm so excited for the Suikoden 2 remaster! 🎉 And KOTOR and Morrowind-such classics! Thank you for mentioning them! RPGs on the OG Xbox deserve more love, and we definitely want to shine a spotlight on them. -Scarole
