PS3 Fake Controller Bluetooth FIX (ScpToolkit)

IMPORTANT:
If your controller still doesn't work and it: works for a few seconds and disconnects, connects and disconnects all the time, has delay or simply doesn't work at all... I don't know how you can fix it. Possible solutions would be:
1. Uninstalling whole ScpToolkit manualy and installing it again (you MUST manualy remove scptoolkit files since just by uninstalling the program it won't remove all the files, so search for the full uninstallation guide on the browser.)
2. Updating Windows
3. Disabling secure boot in bios if it's enabled - but be aware that some games with anticheat system won't work anymore.
This software was made by one person, and obviously its not reliable for every kind of ps3 controller or bluetooth device you have. Just like this video isn't a fix for all your fake "duel shok 3" joysticks out there. The problems occur and will continue to occur since the developer isn't working on ScpToolkit anymore, LAST UPDATE WAS IN 2016. Some of the fake controllers you have were made after 2016 and are completely unknown to the program, and that's why some of you can't even find a fake controllers name. Best way to find a similar problem you have is to google it. If google doesn't offer you any solution, well, try to fix it yourself, and if you get lucky just like me, you can share with others your solution. Be aware that sometimes it isn't a softwares problem, so try changing your usb cabel, bluetooth adapter, maybe even a whole controller. There are really a lot of different kinds of errors that you can have, so I'm sorry if I can't give you a proper solution.

Here's what I found out...the name of my fake dual shock 3 is Wireless Controller, which is the name for a dual shock 4, I tried swapping the name, but it keeps detecting it the same

@@Rory_shi Are you sure the controller you have isn't a fake controller for PS4? Try installing a dualshock 4 drivers instead and see how it works.

Bluetooth adapter goes missing? If adapter goes missing just plug it in again. If you are using a laptop's bluetooth, then buy an adapter.

I have this same issue with the program detecting the controller is fake however I don't use a bluetooth dongle, I just use it by usb, how do I get to be seen as geninue?

If the controller is fake it cannot be seen as genuine, but if you use it with usb cable it should work just fine.

been trying to get bluetooth on my fake controller for a week now, and this sort of works.. it connects on bluetooth, the light stops beeping when i connect to my controller on mobile; and while it stops beeping i press START and it doesnt disconnect like it does, so it works on mobile, thanks a lot for that, really mean it. however, when i connect to pc, it never stops beeping even though in the computer it says connected. but it doesnt stop beeping so i cant press start to make it fully connect to my pc (when the controller is beeping, it will never work, i know because of experience)

But still no bluetooth connection. my problem is the following, if you can offer any help which i will be very greatful of it :D so i have a "realtek bluetooth 4.2 adapter" *chip* on my laptop which i think it's what causing the problem because i don't know if it's supported ( i think it's not) so everything installs normally, wired connection works fine and bluetooth is not. when i try to press the button on the ps3 controller an error pops up which is a great news and a bad one (so there is a bluetooth connection but it can't connect) *unexpected error in hci worker_threads : system.null.reference* i even tried 2 versions of the installer one that doesn't detect my bluetooth device and another that has the *zadig* but it doesn't install bluetooth device. even when i used zadiag bluetooth driver installs it shows both host and pad mac adress in scpMonitor but still no bluetooth connexion

@@shadowxdgamer I am pretty sure that chip is causing the problem, a lot of people try to use laptops built in bluetooth and it just doesn't work. So I will suggest you to buy an actual USB bluetooth dongle.

Hi, I cannot guarantee that this will work but you can try. 1) Reinstall whole program 2) Try different usb cabel (if it doesn't work with usb cabel) 3) Different bluetooth adapter 4) On the back side of the joystick there is a small hole with a button that resets it, grab something that thin and try to reset it. 5) If program shows you fake controllers name, google it and try to see if other people have the same problem with that joystick.

Nope, the program will start with windows and you can connect controller without opening SCP Server, since I used that just to identify version of the program and the general problem.

The whole program won't start or your controller just doesn't work? Are you using your laptops bluetooth? If your program won't start, go into Scptoolkit folder, find "ScpService" application and create a shortcut at desktop, then, open start menu and type Run, open it and type %ProgramData% , you should find folder called Startup, in Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp. When you find StartUp just put ScpService shortcut from desktop there and try to restart and see if it works. - If that doesn't help then try completely uninstalling both drivers and Scptoolkit and installing a newest version. If you are using your laptops bluetooth, maybe that's the problem.

You can try to use my .dll, its not needed if it works with my method. Yes, but instead of using "Pro Controller" you should write your fake controller name (if its Pro Controller then yes, type that). In order to get your fake controller name you should open standalone server and try to connect your controller, somewhere in the log it should tell you what fake controller you are using.

Sorry for late response, have you managed to fix it? You can try that, I really don't know why it doesn't show you remote name. I saw somewhere that you can connect it with MAC Adress but I haven't tried it nor I can find that method right now.

I have a lost issue on my own while installing. I don’t no if U can still help The first is that if I install Bluetooth driver with it, the Bluetooth will lost like the system won’t detect it anymore. Second is that after removing the pad to connect with Bluetooth it only take like 5sec and it disconnected back to reserve. @@kapac7a Actually, my goal was to get the thing to work in Linux, but I was unsuccessful in either windows or linux. I can make a screenshot for you tomorrow. I've actually given up, but I can try again. At the SCPServer.exe, what you have open at 01:40. There you have the BSSID of the controller in the top left corner, for me it just said ERROR. But I think it was somehow recognized under port 1. More details tomorrow.

Hi man, probably something related to your bluetooth adapter or controller. If your controller is blinking then it's probably low at battery and you should charge it with your usb cabel.

You can try but keep in mind that SCPToolkit replaces bluetooth drivers to its own so It can connect to a controller, and you won't have a bluetooth icon or anything until you remove scptk. I will suggest you to check out DS4Windows, its a much better software thank Scptoolkit.

Hi, I suggest you that you should uninstall the program & drivers. After that install it again and make sure to download the latest version. Also try to connect the bluetooth adapter to the other USB port. It seems like an software problem so hopefully reinstallation can fix it. I think i get the gist of the video walkthrough and here's my deduction: 1. OP using standalone server instead of using SCPService so that some of validation won't be make thru server calls (if there is) 2. Adding SupportedName as to include Amazon Pro / most of similar architecture controller to be included into the server. Adding it won't be called as fake but will be recognized as "real" controller. 3. I added mine on extra line under GenuineMacAddress according my controller first three MAC Address alphanumeric. Got mine MiniThink controller (transparent PS3 china controller to work) and the Bluetooth will be no longer being gatekeeped to be disconnected i guess. Disclaimer: (3) all of these three are just my deduction as a programmer thinking sense. Cheers
