FB Neo works, but in my experience, FB Alpha will play about everything. 90% of all of my arcade games are using FB Alpha.

what if im trying to package n64 games? Mario 64 Multiplayer, Luigi 64, and Sonic 64 specifically (for my sons)

Unfortunately N64 emulation is very difficult to replicate. Right now there is only one N64 game that can be played on a PS3 and that is Super Mario 64. Someone figured out how to turn it into a PS2ISO and it plays great. There have been numerous attempts to get a working Mupin64 core for PS3, but it's still undeveloped.

When I go to the package installer on my PS3 it just shows a square with the arrows going around...... I don't know what's wrong a month ago I made 4 PKGs and they work now it's not.

Sounds like it maybe an issue with your flash drive. Maybe try unplugging it and replugging it in and restarting.

what about the save files, can every different xmb user have separate save states? this is what i hate about retroarch, other users overwriting my save states grrrrrrrr

It should be inside the program's main folder. It has been awhile though, so if not report back here and I'll send you a link. The folder is now called Cores-Retro. It has all of the cores, assets for newer cores, and bios files inside.

I'm having problems with creating PSX PKG's, it's not letting me change the core directory in RetroXMB Creator. After I click the blue box, the directory is grayed out.

I'm not much help on PSX games. I have made one into a pkg before but not with Retroxmb. I could probably link a video that will show you how. I just play them as regular bin/cue files.

@M.K_GAMER-10 Go into webman settings. At the very top, there's an arrow to click to open the drop-down menu. I believe it's labeled "Scan for Content." I'm not sure. It's been a while. Anyways, there you can check or uncheck which folders you want in webman. Make sure to click save at the very bottom. Then in dev_hdd0/ROMS make folders FBA2012, GBA, GEN, MAME, NES, and SNES and add your games.

It's probably not finding the core. Are you changing the path correctly when you click on the blue square? The path needs to be /dev_hdd0/game/GAMEFOLDER/USRDIR/cores/borders/Menu/ GAMEFOLDER will probably be something like RXSNE0001 or RXGEN0001 unless you renamed the folder.

They are in the same zip as the RetroXMB Creator. There should be a folder called cores-retro and all of the cores are in there. I put the new eboot into the template, so that part is already done.

@@realwelder3529 always have to edit the eboot of each game or only edit PARAM.SFO ID of the new game to another question and that you have to edit also the retroarch.cfg retroarch-core-options.cfg fb_alpha.cfg content_history.lpl package.conf I'm trying to create a neo geo PKG so far it hasn't worked out if you can help me, I really appreciate it

It's most likely your computer's firewall. It's safe, but it's considered a "hacking tool" so sometimes it gets flagged. Edit: I have been having trouble with youtube and my links lately though. I'll check here in a few and if I have to, reupload.

Yes. Just make sure HEN is enabled and it will run.

@@damianmorgan7439 well that one should be pretty easy, but this video is a little outdated. I think I have updated the tool's template since this video to make it easier. If you can check inside the template folder and check if there is a subfolder called "cores." If that folder is there, then it is the newer version. With the newer version, you place the core in the "cores" folder instead of the folder in the video.
