I'm not too upset about the visuals, as the key factor will be the launch price. If this game is full 60-70 bucks on launch and still looks/feels like a budget title it won't sell well at all. However if this game was reasonably priced at say 29-39 buck max I could see this game getting a decent player base, if it was properly balanced and supported post launch. People need to stop being so harsh and wait for the final release and at the very least price announcement.

@ you know it’s crZy back in 2018 when dbfz first came out i noticed it was the same thought with others. I think it had to do with the 2D setting I was born in the 90’s so the idea of arena fighters is still kinda new to us. The Naruto storm games were the first full anime arena fighters we got and it was amazing 🤩 back then fast forward to now the ppl saying we are burned out from it are the ppl in my age range, but younger gamers feel like 2D will flop. I say that to say give it a chance before you down it if you don’t like it that’s fine to each their own. As for anime cannon I don’t think any game can be anime cannon. And it also gives different definition to different people.
