I've discovered your channel relatively recently, and I feel compelled to say your game content you do is amongst the very best I've seen on KZbin. There"s something that feels very honest about what you do; a genuine love for the art and craft in games, which mirrors the effort put into your videos and scripts. Plus, you're one of the few (out of a plethora) who actually understand what a "Hidden Gem" is, opposed to it being lazy clickbait--I had honestly never heard of something like 90%+ of the games on your PS4 series, but your vids have been eye-opening and have led to a couple of (physical, as that's definitely a thing for me) purchases. Awesome work and thank you. :)

So glad you talked about Bladed Fury. Absolutely gorgeous. Gameplays is fun. Pretty and not totally easy. What a great little side scroller beat em up title. Just loved it. Sometimes just had to pause to look at artstyle.

Another great list as always mate. Yet some other games I've never heard about. The Eternal Cylinder really seems intreguing in it's weirdness. Not gonna lie, seeing this big cylinder closing in on you destroying everything in it's path seems amazing and scary at the same time.

Yeah the eternal cylinder is one of the more truly unique and weird games in my library and well worth seeking out, hope you enjoy. Great suggestions, I’ve literally just bought Forgive Me Father, arrived yesterday and will be in a future video for sure. Some of the others I’ve talked about on the channel before or own but haven’t got round to yet. But quite a few I haven’t heard of so will definitely check them out. Considering it's a game from 2021, I'm shocked I've never heard of The Eternal Cylinder. That game seems like such a weird trip and yet I'm super curious about it. The narrator seems to be the same voice actor as the one for Dandelion, who narrates The Witcher 3. Gearshifers goes on the list too, as it reminds me of a game called Death Rally, that I used to play in the 90's on my very first PC, a 486. :) If anyone wants more of that type of game, the OG version is free on Steam and there is even a 2012 remake, currently for 3,19. What surprised me is that these were developed by Remedy, Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Control fame. 7th Sector gives me Inside vibes. I had no idea about that one either, but I just picked it up for 3,83 on Steam. While I rarely go the PS4 route with these smaller titles, it blows my mind that 1. you nail both the "hidden" and "gem" aspects of these lists 2. physical versions exist and 3. you own all of them. 😁Great video as always! It's exciting to always learn about at least 1 or 2 cool games I had no idea about.

That’s crazy to hear that remedy was behind the Death Rally remake, love that studio but had no idea about this, going to check it out now! £3.83 for 7th Sector on steam is absolute bargain and well worth grabbing, hope you enjoy. Glad you enjoyed Gear Shifters! The presentation is a bit mobile-esque I must admit, but there's a sold game underneath. I have picked up the Blue Reflection games, but only digitally. The first game in particular is becoming quite expensive in a physical form.

Yeah I really enjoyed my time with Gear Shifters! Nice one. Regarding Blue Reflection, the first one is getting on the pricey side, it’s sitting at around £50-60 used on eBay where I am although I have seen it sell via auction listings for less so it’s probably about timing more than anything

Yeah you’re right, a friend of mine said the same thing when he saw my gameplay. I never played the OG spy hunter games so i didn’t noticed the similarities when playing Gearshifters. Closest I got was the 3D reboot of the SH series on Vita which is a slightly different experience. Cheers man and thanks for watching 👊🏼

I tried to enjoy the eternal cylinder but just found it a frustrating mess. It looked so weird that I would enjoy it but I spent so much time dying of dehydration I must have been missing something.

Yeah it is a strange one and definitely took me a while to get to grips with it but for me personally the world and the sci fi story kept me pushing through and I’m glad I did tbh. But yeah, it could’ve done a better job at explaining all the survival mechanics

Someone has to have the answer. Let me explain the question. In the intro on Polygon Don, there's a clip of a seemingly helicopter shoot'em up. What is that game, and the one that precedes it? Also, how do I get these Japanese/Chinese physical copies?

Hey man, I can answer those for you. The shoot ‘em up is called ‘Under Defeat HD - PS3’ The game before it is called ‘Freedom Wars - PS Vita’ Both have physical copies. Regarding the Japanese/Chinese games, I buy mine from PlayAsia, Amazon or EBay. Hope that helps 👊🏼

@sircaptain9673 yeah man they’re both great, pretty sure I’ve featured Freedom Wars back in my first Vita video. Under Defeat is great too, not often spoken about either, I’ll cover that at some point in the future. The game that follows is ‘Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - GameCube’. Easily my fav FE game ever, if you like strategy RPG’s it’s one of the best although quite difficult to get your hands on these days. Might be easier (and cheaper!) just to emulate it if you did want to try it out 👍🏼
