- For those talking about Lockdown defender, that only works for the person you're guarding. If I'm playing the Park, there are 4 other people on my team that may not rock the lockdown defender sig skill, therefore the opponents can still abuse these signature skills. In order for Lockdown defender to be relevant in the conversation, everyone on the team would have to equip it, which just doesn't happen.

More thoughts I meant to add in: -When referring to Interceptor and being able to get back into the play, I understand that recovery speed is an option, and if you go for a steal, most of the time, you are out of the play. However, there are a few steal animation that literally make you stumble to half court, that's the part that I don't like about it.

i think the amount of sigs isnt the problem but the effects need alteration and actual effect like interceptor should actually have you more likely to intercept while if you dont have it you are more likely to tip

Actually interceptor does work, your pass lane tendency has to be high enough to be effective, but its pretty much useless on hall of fame. NBA 2k14 tendencies for my career aren't set up properly to begin with.

On the park you can make threes for days even with the whole team on you. It's stupid. And Active Hands is annoying as hell too. Nice video Dman.

If u gt lockdown defender it stops all signature skills. If you actively guarding your man like if yo opponent got deadeye and shot creator lockdown defender takes it away And you can't be shot on

Cant talk about this because i dont play in corrent gen, but i dont agree whit something said here ago talk about interceptor, this skill is not a steal skill but s the interception pass is u stay in pass line that a steal this skill dont work like that u have to be late and he allows u to jump in pass line to intercept the ball when ur opponent pass the ball tha have to be precise

Training boost should not be allowed in the park. I hate having a streak then a fully boosted squad gets one and just do anything they want and blow pass everybody with 99 speed.

-Posterizer shouldn't be a signature skill in my opinion, there is no way some players should be able to dunk on others (talking about MyCAREER here). The shortest point guard can go over the tallest center because of that signature skill, and it just isn't realistic. I think posters should come down to momentum, weight, and other physics, although I'm not a developer so I don't know how difficult it is to make this happen.

Finisher sometimes makes the game highly unrealistic. Good example of it is on my playoffs mix vid on my channel the entire team tried to stop me on the drive,finis and i liturally bulldozzed my way through everyone like its madden. What 2k could do is make attributes or sig skills u could get based on height and weight and mabye even position while fixin some of the tendencies as well.

I like the idea of sig skills but skills like posterizer, active hands, deadeye needs to be nerfed I hate going to the paint and dunking on people all the time it's not sim

This is one of the main reasons I stopped taking 2K Sports serious as well as NBA 2K. It's crazy you're the only commentator to talk about this but I never heard iPodkingCarter or Shakedown and them talk about this SMH. Just get rid of signature skills period 2K Sports!

Shot creator hardly ever works for me, its like Dimer in the way that it activates on screen but nothing much happens. I gave on active hands due to constant foul trouble. I agree with all of the others though, especially dead eye. Oh and I don't get posters ever 2min, either. But that could be because I'm taking off from the wrong spot.

Yo dman IMO i think sig skills should just be taken out the game because it's out of control. Here's a scenario you're winning in my team 81-78 with 30 seconds left and you are going to make sure that you're opponent gets no threes. HERE is the problem the guy runs down the court with MJ and posterizes the defender for a and1 just because he has posterizer and there is nothing to counter it. i know im not the only one. Its ridiculous thats why sig skills should be gone

I agree with everything up until posterizer & Active Hands. To me its almost as if you need posterizer to dunk sometimes. Active Hands on the park I get a foul 70% of the time. Now I was late to the PS4 party and only have been playing since Late April/Early may, so I dunno how it played up before then. From my short time playing, Defense from last gen to now is like Night and Day. To Me Defense is hard in the game as its almost like it doesn't exist with out spamming steal button. Its even worse on the park. Sorry if you covered that in a different video and I might of missed/forgot. I have a big problem with Tendencies but thats a story for another day lol

bruiser combo with posterizer and/or post proficiency is cheese just ask shaq from the 93 magic. or dimer and floor general combo mostly doesnt work when the ai is still shaqting a fool, some need to be taken out like brick wall I F*CKING HATE BRICK WALL as a point guard I gotta use pick dodger just to avoid that cheese but im still on current gen, a bro just got an apartment so next gen 2k15 might be a change for sig skills and overall gameplay

Bruiser with Posterizer? I never thought of that combo lol. I imagine some sig skills like floor general and defensive anchor doesn't even work vs. the HoF cpu mainly because they know what you're going to do lol.

Sig skills should be based on play style not play style based on Sig skills, devs should make up unlock them like perks by upgrading stats and completing challenges instead of buying them

I just say take off signature skills because nine times out of ten the have they people cant even get opportunity to try out signature skills because of the limits of there attributes. Also its very cheesy when playing online next and last gen because most of the skills reduce your completely maxed out attributes because thats just one of the perks. Honestly thats just sounds arcade like in my opinion previous 2ks showed most of the good 2k players how to actually play the game of basketball. It increased the basketball IQ phenomenally and thats how we got rewards and also how crew became one of the more favored modes because it took strategy, teamwork and some amount of knowledge of the game to compete with like minded players. With the skills you basically encouraging bad play and not giving the real 2k players the benefit of the doubt to even compete because the skills give the game a handicap for players who cant find other ways to play the game instead of dunking on people and being 30/30 from the 3pt line TAKE OFF SKILLS

Like I said in the video, I don't have a problem with the actual idea of active hands, it's just that it happens way too much. Active Hands Level 3 is a "100% increase in strip probability" that's ridiculous. Lol
