*I have both a ps4 and ps4 pro, and I have to say the pro is a fantastic upgrade. I have a 4K tv and the image quality blows a standard Ps4 out of the water, and with quicker load speeds, higher frames in games, and a quieter and cooler running system it just beats the original ps4 by miles. Definitely a recommended buy.*

I bought my ps4 pro in 2019 December 25 , and I don’t regret , in a 4k tv provides me better graphics , higher resolution and smoother movements because of solid fps , I love Playstation consoles since my boyhood.

I'm honestly getting tired of people saying the upgraded consoles like PS4 Pro and Xbox One X are a waste. Like, it's not that hard to understand. If you want to wait 6 or so years to get an improved new console or whatevs, by all means, you can do that. But some of us actually like new hardware and not being stuck in the past. Technology has to move forward, man.

I hear you. I wish consoles received the same respect as the rest of Sony's electronics. I wish we had a PlayStation on the same level as the XBR Z series TV's, or the ES Surround Recievers and speakers they offer. I love PlayStation, I highly prefer consoles over PC, and I would like to see Sony offer a PlayStation that delivers industry leading CPU/GPU tech. They can still sell $200 base models like they do with their TV and Sound tech, that is great for the mass market. Let us that want to pay for the best of the best have the oppertunity to do so.

I finally got my hands on a Sony 4K 49'' TV at last years black Friday so I was able to finally buy a PS4 PRO! I've had it since just after Christmas and It is brilliant. Some of Sony exclusive games look amazing! One big noticeable difference was Uncharted 4, never thought it could look any sharper, clearer and more colourful from the original PS4. xD

I know the One X was more powerful, but Sony was more honest with the messaging with the Pro. They didn't promise "native 4K" and fail to deliver on it like their competition did. Checkerboard rendering was and is a solid method to play 4K games

This console for me was a return to the PlayStation platform and, what a return it is I love using this console the hardware is awesome but, now the tile has come to upgrade I do have a PlayStation 5 (finally manage to find one for sale) this PlayStation 4 Pro is one of the best looking and most fun consoles I have had the most fun with when it comes to enjoying the -Only On PlayStation games-.

A lot of people hate me for always saying this but I prefer the PS4 Pro over the Xbox One X. Yes, I am a Sony fanboy, but I do not hate Xbox. I prefer great storytelling games like the exclusives on PlayStation and I wanted to play them on the Pro. Like, who doesn't want that? Archtro Gaming 😁 Hehe... that's not what I meant dude. I have a PRO and I mostly play the multiplats on my PC. The real problem with the current gen at least for 'major' consoles is trying to hit that crispy 4k Res , no matter what ! instead they should've been focusing on 1080@60 cz majority of the folks still prefer and are on 1080 displays, due to the lack of content that pricey 4k display provides. Many people don't have that luxury ,or that much of disposable cash for every fancy thing that keeps hitting the market ! Both new machines are great but again if someone has to make a critical decision and want to get most out of there purchase then he/she has to make the Smartest coice, period. .....Game on dude no matter what 😎😎😎 n have a good day 😀

Stardust Hoopa ps4 pro is not part of the new generation console there is no exclusive games on ps4 pro... Ps4 pro is a part of ps4 family.. If you want games in 4k get the ps4 pro .. If you have 1080p tv get ps4 standard.... Just like xbox one x... Xbox one x is a part of xbox one standard family....

Stardust Hoopa don't get confused between mid cycle refresh and the new generation console... If sony release the new ps4 pro2 and ps4 pro3...means all the games are compatible with the standard ps4.... If they release ps5 thats another story... Ps5 is new console with different cpu power... All games in ps5 is ps5 exclusive only no ps4 games will be compatible unless they will remastered it..
