I did the same thing, with thermalright pad from Amazon and it's so huge !!! I mean it's almost not the same console, the lobby screen of warzone is not anymore a jet reactor, it's almost silent.. I'm so happy to have do this, I'm going to keep my PS4 PRO for a long time...

Arcitec thermal pads 1.5 mm (thick) Does it work ?
@coyaltylard8630
@coyaltylard8630 3 жыл бұрын
Can't say for sure, sorry. The stock thermal pads are 1 mm so I got the same thickness. A lot of people on the internet say 1 mm is the way to go, too.

Hi. What if my ps is missing one thermal pad in RAM? Can it burn out?

The thermal pad that you used is quality but you need to put it on the heatsink spot not on gpu vram and it should be less smaller than what you did it should not cover all the vram sides trust me i was wondering why my ps4 sound like jet engine after few days of replacing the pads i figured out that i was doing it in the wrong way after i replace it again now its so quite like if it was turned off no more heat and jet engine sound 🙂💔

Hi can you explain what you mean?
@captainspaulding7612
@captainspaulding7612 3 жыл бұрын
@@datmanUK man i don't know how to explain it more for you but all i mean that you should put the thermal pads in the right way cause putting it wrong will make ps4 noisy again and it shouldn't be too large we need to cover the vrams on the motherboard but make it larger than needed could make it worse you should put it in the alimnium part not the black squares in the motherboard thats called vram this is the most important tip i have and it made my ps4 run quite again i hope you got my point and all clear to you

@@captainspaulding7612 as long as the ram can touch the metal cover via the thermal pad, it is good. so, doesn't matter where you put the pad first it will join and contact the two surface as soon as you screw down the metal cover.
