2 years later, if you still use the same setup do you have any additional tips for the placement of the brackets? I always thought putting the 2 controller brackets side by side (like in 5:26 ) would make my legs always hit it accidentally haha, did something like that ever happen to you?

Stacked would be ideal too, but it’ll be hard to get the second controller. With side by side, I would use the controller close to my leg. If you have a wider desk, it wouldn’t be an issue.

Depends on games you play. I’ve been playing FPS more so I’d go 120hz. I’ve never had any issues with it! Worth the money. The only reason why I would upgrade is if I wanted a monitor that I can also use for work and is color accurate… other than that, it’s awesome.

Like I said earlier our setups are looking a lot alike..possibly bc im modeling mine after yours and a couple others..60"x 30" ikea Gerton stained&finshed after the purchase to a warm "espresso" color and the overall minimalist setup also. I really like to look of the 32-34" Ultrawides but not sure ill be happy with the resolution. I dont game, I do watch movies and will be mostly for general use. In all honesty anything will be an upgrade and ill be grateful but I was hoping you may have better insight into that world and be able to guide me. If not not worries, I realize this is coming out of left field a bit.

I honestly just looked for an affordable monitor with the specs I wanted. For 27” I think the curve doesn’t matter as much but for my 34” ultrawide, it just brings the corners closer to your face and I can tell the difference. At first it was weird but now, I barely notice it.

I find this size perfect. I don't have to move my head too much to see the whole screen. For how close I am to the screen, this is a good size. I can always connect it to my TV when I'm playing NBA or something.

@@JonImperial Yeah! Why darkgrey is because of darkgrey carpet I have. It looks much better irl than expected! Got the walnut wood desk with the included drawer and now all I want and need is a 42" oled tv to complete my dream setup. And also because I can organize my headphones. Currently it's a bit of a mess but 48" tv will probably too big so holding off till LG actually releases their 42" oled tv's. Wood and black brings peace too.

Damn i feel bad for those ps5 controllers. Looks like a baby being hanged by the neck. Geez at least get the official ps5 charging dock and color it black if u want it to look stealth plus it wont ruin your joysticks like how you are doing it. fyi the stock ps5 joysticks are junk already and have drifiting jssues as well and id imagine hanging them like that would not only make it loose over time but also has the risk of it falling when you crank ur table higher or lower. According to who? 1.) It actually isn’t that hot. 2.) I’m in Alaska so even it it does blow, it’s nothing compared to my heater. 😂 3.) I’m super careful and actually haven’t smacked it more than you think. 2-3 times maybe? I get it, it’s not for you. It’s perfect for me though.
