Man, I miss all the themes from the PS3 era. Some themes had their own fonts and even sounds when navigating through the menus. You could also download images from the built-in web browser and add them to your background. Not to mention, you could also download media from a disc with stored files like music, videos, and images. Also, playstation home was such a cool feature, and although I got into a very late, I still had an amazing time with it. It's unfortunate that some of these things are gone and won't likely ever come back.

I have the PS5 pro as well and I didn't see that on mine, tried following what you done and I don't have the PlayStation 30th anniversary stuff in my settings and it's connected to internet And even checked for system software update it says it's up to date. Never mind, just tried restarting it and it's in the settings, I didn't get no notification to reset it I just figured and took it upon myself to try it and then it popped up in the settings and the boot up screen shown PlayStation 30th anniversary... Checked the notifications for that and of course notifications are turned on so I don't know about that issue, it's pretty cool but yes that does suck that it's only for just the month of December.

I'm not gonna jump on the band wagon. I understand that making it permanent would defeat the purpose of "celebration". Each generation there's a new theme, design and style to rival the previous ones. I love this update and the goal (now that I know it's a full month rather than "liMiTeD tImE onLy...") is to use each generation each week. But once it's gone, I'm not gonna beg for it to return... Rather appreciate the gesture. Ps6 will arrive, and with new theme, design and style. But this I will agree on. For a supposed next gen hardware... The lack of customization for the hub of the console: themes, backgrounds, icon style, text fonts etc is mildly infuriating. I want more options for customizing on the ps5 (consoles in general) As for the ps6, that has better be default.
