Hey Tech Giant! I love your videos; I think it's an individual thing, to some it is worth it to others it's not. For me personally, it's not worth it, I'm going to wait on the PS6 which when it comes out will have a better CPU, GPU and PSSR will be more optimized.

For me I would rather have 2tb of storage over a disc drive as I have not used discs for about 2 years now what Sony should have done is made 2 different ones pro with a 1tb with a disc drive and the one we got but I still think people would not be happy

i think its a good point. the only thing is games on disc are 20 cheaper but they are also slow to load in the disc drive, downloading is way faster nowerdays.

Needs a disc drive and the silver vertical stand. Also you can move your extended internal storage straight across. So take the ssd out of the old one and bang it straight into the new one.

If Sony can't be bothered to install the disc drive themselves ... at least give customers a priority option to get one at checkout. Because they are completely sold out if you try to get it separately.

Totally agree 👍 There should have been the option to have the Pro with a drive and without. Or had enough drives to keep up with the sales demand. The fact that they are sold out says to me that they made the mistake of selling a digital only version.

the horizontal feet pieces won't stop it wobble it around, try it and push the sides of the console. So, laying horizontal press especially left front and right back ..... guess what happens.

I got an xbox series x and not used the disc drive at all. Well, ok, just for cyberpunk when it stopped having 45 million bugs/glitches lol when it came out. But i can see that disc drives will be a thing in the past apart from p.c..

I just call the game shop kex now so I don’t have a dirty mind plus you can have a disc drive on the pro but it’s the slim one (the console is basically a taller version of the ps5 slim) and you have to buy it separately

CEX a lot of the time suddenly drop the amounts they give you. I forget the name of the PS5 game I took in earlier this year. The day before I took it online CEX quoted it as £28 cash. That morning before I went to the shop it said £28. I got to the shop they said £22.

Biggest rip off of a games console. I'm a Sony super fan... but £700 for a console with a couple of slight tweaks to performance and let's face it the majority won't even notice, & an upgrade to memory that you can buy yourself anyways, no vertical stand, no disk drive...... & they call it a pro 😆 🤣 if they had gave all consoles the anniversary make over it may have been forgivable (maybe) but failing that I can understand why there is loads of stock widely available of them...if you have the OG console there is genuinely no point upgrading infact I would encourage people to avoid the purchase so Sony can learn from this experience and make it right when the PS6 comes out.
