Hey that’s a great idea. My only worry is it’ll be based on my preferences and in reality what suits who is a bit different for everyone. Maybe a list of controllers with unique features and a segment of what’s my favourite.

@@thephototechyyes, after watching hours of reviews my logical consensus is that no controller is objectively perfect, as no controller hits all required thresholds of hall sticks, clicky buttons, 1ms response, value and other factors. However, even just your personal take could help greatly. Just a thought sir!

I think i will get this controller. Funny enough i only need it for 1 game wich is dragon ball xenoverse 2. For me the xbox layout is much better for that game for quick blocking, there’s a gap between the trigger and bumper with duel sense that will cost you in a fight. The latency should be compensated for by HDMI 2.1 as my xbox xenoverse controller is actually a stock xbox one (VCR looking console) controller wich doesnt have the good responset times either and nothing can out perform it regardless of latency (i have no idea why that controller is so compatible with xenoverse 2)…i need a thicker xbox like controller for ps5 and i think nacon may be what i need.

Hey yes the Nacon is by far the most comfortable controller for me, on its own the latency is not a problem at all as I was using it perfectly fine, until I got dualsense edge and played with them back to back.

been waitin on this one. great stuff man, thank you so much for testing all of this for us. so sad that sony has to artificially slow down the competition just to make their inferior offering feel better. shame on sony for this anticonsumer garbage. ill stick to my regular dualsense with modded back paddles. also, i picked up the flydigi apex 4 for pc recently and wow, its incredible. i highly recommend you check it out if you havent, its the most premium controller ive ever used.

I wish you could use Gamesir G7 se on PS5. I like that the sticks have less tension but otherwise I prefer the Edge.

I guess Nacon haven't changed since the PS4 days. Their controllers feel amazing until you try and shoot anything. It's basically impossible to get them to feel like a standard controller. Aim curves are terrible. You essentially have to learn to handle 2 or 3 sensitivity settings at the same time. Hard to explain but you can see on the app.

what is the best controllers for pc ? I have elite series 2 and it has many problems with the sticks so, I'm buying a new controller and I need some recommendation

Oh man pc has so many options to choose from. I’m only on console so can’t say much, but I’d Xbox compatibility is not needed then definitely look at Flydigi stuff and bigbig win rainbow 2 pro looks good too. I’m hoping to build a pc soon, but life happens and plans get delayed.

GameSirG7 se (good) Flydigi apex 4 (honestly a beast of a controller buttery smooth controller and stick movements) Big Big won controllers(buttery smooth controlller and stick movement) honestly look at the review from gamer heaven for the flydigi apex 4 and see what u think. I've used all these controllers and can honestly say flydigi apex 4 takes the cake but if you're on a budget gamesirg7se is good

Have you played XDefiant? If yes what's your opinion? For me aiming on a controller feels bad.

Hey man I’ve been having a lot of fun on xdefiant. Aiming at first felt off to me too, but using reverse s type with 50-50 sense and there is a acceleration multiplier for 100% register, this is standard at 1, definitely make that higher I’d say even 1.5 but try 1.25 first. The aim basically is smaller movement for normal and those quick flicks we are used to, they just need to be a bit more aggressive, so maybe even a slightly lower aim stick can help with that. I’m loving the audio, got many decent flick snipes with that. Abilities feel fun, I’ve only been using the phantoms as I love the mag shield, like deployable cover from cod 😂. The hit detection at times is funny, got a few clips of getting a hit marker with the heavy sniper and dying to the guy and he still has 100 health. Sometimes it takes a lot more bullets to kill an enemy as it seems they just absorb the damage. Now here’s the thing, playing this game has me believing that we get forced loses over at COD. I love playing COD MW3 but man this one feels organic, not once I felt like oh last game was good let’s not snipe the next and use MTZ or BasB coz I’m about to be humbled. I’m honestly thinking of playing battlefield after the server test it over.

@@thephototechy tbh in Battlefield I feel more freedom with making small adjustments while ADS than in XD or COD. With snap aim assist off of course.

Thanks for the settings. Finally I had a positive k/d right after implementation. I mean I still dont like how aiming behaves. I play battlefields with sens 100/100 with snap aim assist off. For me COD and XD feel strange, not giving me enough freedom.

@@Lukasz3332x that’s interesting bro, I do believe 2042 aiming takes more skill, that’s my experience playing the game. I’d think transitioning to cod you’d find it easier than BF2042.

I play MP on the Xbox with the gamesir because the dual sense feels alittle big in my hands, and feels uncomfortable

I use gamesir on pc but relatable. Dual sense made my hands feeling sore after about half an hour of use, which was never the case with the PS4 controller. Switching to the G7 was a game changer for me, and I haven't looked back since.

Xbox has no such issues with third party controller and for me it’s the best thing about it, coz the choice is just so vast on that platform. I just hope something could be done for Sony platform.

@@asinner hey so I felt something similar when I got the PS5. Switching to bumpers for aim and shoot fixed some issues with pain for me on the dualsense.

I’ve been using Nacons for over a decade and I can confirm that all Nacon controllers feel like they have some sort of built-in stick acceleration. The only thing the use can do is adjust their play style and aim😒

Hey so their Xbox version performs great, they do implement a custom response curve options and that’s probably a resolution change solution. So that acceleration you mentioned could be due to this feature and not having a true 1:1 raw output, not 100% sure though. Which ones have you used Xbox or PlayStation ones?

@@thephototechy I’ve used the pro 2 and the 3 on PlayStation 4. I’ve played games like Destiny and CoD and the experience was better on CoD. Destiny also ran at 30fps on ps4 so that could have been a contributing factor. The controller has some built in acceleration so if you imagine a line drawn from the center of the dead zone, and you have increments starts from 0 at the dead zone and 10 on the out circumference, distance 3 to 8 has some acceleration on it. I tried multiple different settings on the pc app and nothing worked as I desired. The only fix I got was to adjust my aim style. It’s totally a software issue.

Why does 60 fps look better than 120 fps on PS5? Is it the same way on Xbox?

Hey so MW3 at 60 fps on PS5 visually looks a lot better, this is at 1440p and 1080. I dont have a 4k screen to test this, but at 1440 and 1080, definitely way better. Edges are not shimmery and the 120 just looks blurry as if theres a layer of fog over the image. Thinking of making a video on this. Xbox 120 at 1080 definitely feel better than PS5, now this could be due to the screen I'm using. But Xbox 60 also is better than 120 but personally I'm ok losing some fidelity.

Hey if you are on pc then there are better options out there. I can’t confirm what the Nacon’s performance is like on pc as I’ve only used and it and tested it on a PS5. In my experience the edge definitely will be better for aiming but Nacon has 4 back buttons which can be a big advantage. Pc will give you other options with a higher polling rate and 4 back buttons, I’d say definitely look at those options for sure.

Dual sense edge would be great, if play station would put the left stick where the dpad is! Xbox layout is better! Period! For now, nacon wins for ps5. If you cant play past 30 minutes without hand fatigue, doesnt matter how good the controller is!

Hey on Xbox I tend to reach for G7se or EswapX, stealth Ultra does get some game time as well. PS5 I wanted Nacon Rev 5 pro to be my main but edge seems to be the most optimised one. I’d say edge is the most expensive but I didn’t pay full price as I got it used.
