The reason for this limitation is that Microsoft “wanted to reserve more resources for games”. This makes sense, especially in light of the reveal that the Series X can hold multiple games in its cache for quick switching. That functionality is undoubtedly resource intensive, and a 4k Dashboard would simply eat into those resources the entire time. @@alvaromendonca4518 Well I think TLoU 2 had better character designs, because it was a smaller game, and they could focus more on that. But the animations in TLoU2 was kinda off for me. The running looked like they were ice skating, like they had no weight. And the punching look like they were throwing their whole body with it lol. Ofc the Cutscene animations were amazing. Rdr 2 was an open world game with only 1 loading screen. And it rendered all of that at once. So, even though TLoU 2 had better minute things, RDR 2 still had good ones, and then the larger scale things like the landscape and draw distance and weather and lighting, grass, mud, were masterful. This game has some of the best looking water I've ever seen lol. The waterfalls are ridiculous. But the game was built for high end pcs and the One X and Ps4 pro specifically, and then downscale for the lower spec systems. That's why even 2 years later most games havent topped it. And I think u are right, the One X ran Native 4k on it, whereas the Pro ran Dyanmic, if I'm not mistaken. So the One X did play the best version in terms of consoles, which again, makes that "ps4 games were best looking " argument moot

Agreed. I literally see no point in the 3090 over the 3080 unless you REALLY need that 24GB of VRAM. When checking benchmarks tests comparing both gpu's, the results were very similar with the 3090 only pushing about 5-10 fps more for double the price. I think the only time you would need a 3090 is if you're constantly playing in 4K or even sometimes 8K where you need the extra VRAM on CERTAIN games. However it's a very conditional circumstance that is offering diminishing returns with lower frame rates given the performance of current computer technology. The money you can save from buying the 3080 instead of the 3090 could go towards basically anything else anyway.
