Thank you. I had my ps5 for about 2 years or so, didn’t know this. I use a gamer screen, and tried switching on full rgb, and it looks great. Not only is the colors more colorful, but also the black and white is more, black and white and not grey-ish, especially the black. Cheers mate 👍🏼

This is not an insult but legit curiosity. Did you take the little bus to school while everyone else took the regular sized one?

Soooo…what you really mean is that the setting of the monitor or TV was wrong not the PS5

I’d imagine most people know if they bought a vrr tv. I know when I was in the market for a tv I looked for one that had it. Usually vrr sets tend to cost more than standard and you’re paying a premium over it
@funkeeper867320 күн бұрын
Limited on TV and limited on PS5. Thats the correct way. Automatic may cause problems on some tvs.

I personally do not like VRR 120 hz. It shows as game mode on my tv. The game looks dull and grainy to me even when I play with all the settings. On the other hand it looks amazing with Dolby vision enabled. Beautiful picture, the colours pop and is very rich. I don’t even see a difference in the frame rate… definitely no tearing and no lag that I can see anyway. I always play on quality mode on my games with Dolby vision. PS I am playing my series X on a 55” Sony Bravia.

'PS5 Users' are not wrong about that, maybe you just talk to ignorant PS5 users :p. Also, your 2nd tip is not about the PS5 but about your particular TV.
@bartfelix2949Ай бұрын
Tbh both VRR and ALLM are hot garbage...ALLM makes your blacks grey for a minimal response time improvement, and VRR will always cause you to get brightness flickering no matter if its oled, led, qled any TV/Monitor is prone to this and only a select few samasung model monitors have VRR control which is the only successful thing to fix it
@Elijah-ConceptАй бұрын
My Sony vrr looks very good with some games. Has issues with others cause frame skips assuming that the game is dipping under the the limit causing issues. I think the limit is 48. So if a game is relatively stable in the 50’s vrr is good and will clean it up. Remnant 2 hated vrr. Elden Ring loved it.

I have a Hisense and a much better Sony and they both support ALLM and VRR. PS5 games look great on TVs by these brands. Just going by my experience with them, though.
@bartfelix29492 күн бұрын
@@kawaineko7402 it really depends on the game youre playing for when you get the brightness flickering, i love VRR, till i noticed this problem you cant unsee one you do see it

Don't use full 🤦♂️ , the ps5 can't use full rgb in the 120hz signal because the ps5 hdmi bandwidth is limit to 32 gb , just use automatic
@FusselImNerulandАй бұрын
Hopefully the Pro doesnt have this weird limitation... even Xbox Series X has a lottle limitation. Instead of 43, it uses 40

You can get a 48 Gb cable and have native 120 and 60 hz in games if you use the right tv

What are you spreading lies, state why it cant. I use full rgb on my monitor because on automatic I have less brighter/accurate colors. I am playing always on 4k@120hz Valorant or COD, VRR enabled HDR disabled
