Agreed that the improvements are mainly with the replays and cut scenes but it does give an overall higher quality feel. The soap opera effect was something I noticed right off when I first switched but after a few days I stopped noticing it.

The FPS counter on the LG is not indicative of the actual frame rate displayed in the game. It's clear that the cut scenes on the base PS5 are at 30FPS, not 60 as your TV indicates.

The PS5 said "fixed" because you didnt have vrr on not because it was super stable or anything.

Thanks for the comment. VRR setting is always left on whether it's my base ps5 or ps5 pro. The base ps5 game appears to be locked (fixed) 60 fps. Thanks for watching!
