Even the subtle details like the fluid in the reservoir shifting as the G's change. Incredible.
@JETZcorp3 жыл бұрын
That's one thing they actually got wrong. The fluids stay level with the horizon in the turns, when they should be level with the lean angle of the bike (but get sloshed around in transitions, and respond to acceleration and deceleration). It's just like when you're in an airplane, you can look out the window and see the plane is leaning way over but your drink doesn't spill. Bikes work the same way. If you handle your transitions gently, you can drag the foot pegs and not spill a full glass of water.

This is the perfect example that lighting is the most important part for "realistic" graphics in a game. Ray tracing (RTX) and Lumen are the most important advancements in graphics in over a decade. Just a bit of shame that the hardware needed at this point, is waaaaay too expensive. The RTX3080 had an msrp price of 500-600 at launch. But because of chip shortages and scalpers, the price went up to 2000. I don't believe the "chip shortage" story anymore. Manufacturers are now using it as an excuse to keep the prices high. Same with Sony. They have raised the price of the PS5 with 50, claiming that it is an inflation consequence. It is not, as the PS5 is already making profit at 500 and is almost 2 years old hardware. That is not how the market works without manipulation. Every electronic product lowers in price over time. The inflation is not a consequence of shortages, the Ukraine War, Covid anymore. It is self made now. Just like electricity prices. The companies are making record profits. That does not make sense if there would be actual inflation. If there was actual inflation, those profits should be lower than predicted.

There isn't a chip shortage, it's a battle between Asian and American production. America wants to be big man on campus but doesn't have the infrastructure. I can hit up China or Japan and get crazy deals on cards direct, but the markup here is insane. Biden just passed some thing limiting the types of cards we're allowed to buy from them like within the last week. They're hoping Elon will level the playing field, the fact is beggars can't be choosers. They did the same thing with N95s 2 years ago. There's no shortage, they just don't want to pay the RFQ because the markup limits their sales

Two things I find a bit unrealistic. As a rider and track rider myself I feel like the movement of the rider is sometimes a bit too fast and too much to the rear of the bike. I have learned that in corners where you "hang off the bike" you want to put your face in the area where your mirrors are and at speeds you want to duck behind the windscreen. In the game it kind of looks like the rider is too far back. And I've ridden this bike myself, the thing that bothers me is the sound, it's way better in real life.
