I've walked in a bunch of stores lately and found plenty of PS5 DualSense controllers on shelves even though the consoles themselves are as rare as hen's teeth. That's why I believe it makes good business sense for Sony to patch in DualSense support for both the PS3 and PS4. Especially when you consider that peripherals like controllers often bring in much more profit than do the actual consoles. Sony has sold what, almost 200 million PS3 and PS4 consoles combined so that represents a HUGE market of potential DS5 controller sales. Also, many of the people who buy those controllers would be likely to want them to be their 2nd PS5 controller eventually.

Do the motion controls work? I know they work with the Nintendo Switch but haven't heard anything about them working with PS4. Official Dualshock's have been very hard to find in my area, so I'm getting a DualSense for my birthday. Not sure if the motion controls work though. I can't imagine they wouldn't. But I want to be on the safe side. Connecting an app on my phone everytime I need to use the gyroscope gets super annoying.

You have to turn the system on with a PS4 controller. The PS5 controller isn’t recognized until the ps4 is completely on.

OO, That sounds like its your controller. Not the MayFlash. I would take the controller back and get another controller. There is absolutely no drift with my controller at all and I throw it when I’m mad.

Never. I have never lost connection. It functions almost exactly like a PS4 controller. If it dies you just charge it. You wont need to repair it. You cannot start up the PS4 with the PS5 controller. You will need to use a PS4 controller first and then turn on the PS5 controller. I hope that made sense.

The Magic NS is pretty much the Magic S Pro only it cannot be used on PS4. It's specifically made for the Nintendo Switch (I believe it can also be used on PC). The Magic S Pro is designed to work with both the Nintendo Switch & PS4.

Its legit. I use the same adapter. Its a beta firmware update that allows dualsense functionality its just lacking rumble and gyro. They mention that they plan to have a true update soon that will fix the issue.

@@R.E.Y.21 Go to the mayflash website, go to the support tab, then hit download. On the next page itll give you a list of updates, youll want to download the 3rd one. It'll read "Magic-S PRO" and have a description of "v1.09 Beta Firmware." After downloading unzip the file and run the update application. If your magic s pro adapter is plugged into your computer the update application should recognize it and show your current firmware. After that you just click "update" and it should flash the newest update onto the adapter.
