Great video and great info. I have a GF5 that I upgraded with basically the same stuff. I found a Blackhawk light mount very similar to that DD mount. Instead of a conventional screw it uses a Allen screw. I put some Loctite 242, the blue one, and it doesn't come loose at all. It's also mounted on an UltimAK rail.

Sorry for the late reply, but I’d try attaching the front sling reversed as though the other end of the sling was going forward instead of back, maybe that would keep it out of the way of your hand.

Even a 10" 7.62x39 still beats a 16" 5.56 for muzzle energy :) Great caliber for compact firearms.

try a CSS knurled extended charging handle, also thats a good setup only issue is when or if u want to add a magnifier or a magnified optic

After spending a good amount of time on the 104, what are your thoughts on the psa 103k with the pinned 14.2 barrel? It seems to me that both are extremely similar in form and function with the main difference being in the gas block. I was intrigued by the cheaper cost of the 103k but I'm still looking pretty hard at the 104.

Ya I would say it would be a toss up between the two I still think I would lean towards the 104, I seriously love that gun.

These are the exact same upgrades you do to every single one of your AKs. Yes. Form follows function. What works, works. And having the same things in the same places means I don't have to think about it when I pick up one of my AKs. My exception to that is my Romanian dong SAR-1. That is old-school basic, bfpu-ish.
