PSA is a great company and they are doing huge things for our community and they deserve our full support. People seem to forget how hard it is to make a new firearm from scratch. To say the M16 didn’t have teething issues is laughable. It took the Russians about 13 years to figure out how to make a reliable stamped AK Receiver. PSA basically started from scratch manufacturing all these products for the first time in the US so some minor issues are to be expected. They have great customer service and have always resolved any issues I’ve had in the past in a very timely manner even going above and beyond what I needed. Two of my 7.62 AK’s from them were both popping primers. Not wanting to send them back in I replaced the firing pins with European surplus pins and they been running great ever since.

Does PSA make the best weapons ever? No, definitely not. However, a lot more f manufacturers could take note from them. They genuinely strive to make the best product for the cheapest they possibly can for them to make a profit. They have QC issues relatively commonly. However, in my experience, they do their best to solve issues and usually solve them pretty quickly. I can appreciate their vision to arm as many citizens as possible at an affordable price point. And compared to many gun companies, looking at you H&K or Sig, I can appreciate that heavily. Despite issues or complications, I do believe they are one of the few manufacturers that are in it for more than just their profit. They deserve more support and positive press in the gun community. I wouldn’t advertise their products for people looking for the top of the line products. But for the average gun owner who wants to protect themselves and family? Heck yes, their weapons always improve upon themselves, their customer service is generally good, and they by far have better price points than many of their competitors. I just think they get more hate than they deserve.
@garreteason16592 жыл бұрын
My concern with PSA has never been that they don't care enough to fix a broken gun that someone sends in, it's that they don't care enough to engineer and manufacture a gun right the first time. They have had SEVERAL iterations of several guns and customer service has retrofit complete rifles and revised internals for their ARs, AKVs, large frame ARs, Dagger and AKs. So either they need to test more thoroughly (I know they say "1 million rounds no issues) all the time like everyone else on the internet or spend more on engineers and less on product development and vaporware projects that get aborted
@ammocan20212 жыл бұрын
People have this unrealistic response with just about every miracle that exists in the manufacturing and engineering world. I just bought a new home and to expect that my home is going to be perfect on day one would be unrealistic. what’s more important is that I have a company that’s willing to address those issues and make improvements in their product along the way. Sig has a good reputation and even the gun snobs like Sig but I know for a fact that they have had serious issues with some of their guns and they won’t even admit there is a problem and the gun snobs believe them and defend them but PSA has made great strides to always improve products and improve their manufacturing and the end result (as shown in this case) is a much better product. So why does Sig get positive attention from the Gucci gun snobs but PSA gets crapped on. PSA makes every effort to do a good a good job and improve their products and they still get comments like yours. Every manufacturer has problems when they develop a new product but PSA is one of the rare exceptions that are willing to admit it and improve.

My first AR-15 was the freedom M4 Style that hasn't had 1 issue . I then bought a PSAk47 GF3 Moekov rail and almost 1000 trouble free rounds through it. Cleaned and oiled it when I first bought it, and it's my favorite rifle. Right now I have enough Tulamo and Red Army stored, and just cleaned and oiled it to keep ready for the Zombie Apocalypse. I then bought the PS-9 Dagger. Had an issue with trigger pin and Chad Wylie reached out himself. New titanium pin and no issues since. I then bought a PSA blem lower for $139 and a CBC upper and use it as my truck gun. All 4 guns built in my home State of South Carolina. I see PSA is getting there Ammo company going and a new 5.7 23 round handgun called the Rock coming out.

Glad to see round 2. Waiting for my 16xx first run to grenade. No peeling like yours though.
