PSA Destroyed My Wax Pack! PSA Wax Pack Grading 101 😎

PSA has been extremely dishonest with their grading services. They some how popped open one of my $1000 gaming booster packs that came from a factory sealed box. On top of that the encapsulation process has been horrible with defects throughout the casings(air bubble and scratches in the casing). 60%+ of the shipment has casing issues. Spent over $4000 on grading my packs and PSA refuses to address the problem. This is the new era of PSA customer service. Raising their prices over 100%, delayed grading times, misgrading cards, lousy customer service, and to top it off damaging your cards.

In my humble opinion, I think it would have been good business practice for PSA to reach out to you about the pack just in case. It doesn’t jive with a bunch of great condition packs to be sent in along with a jacked one. They should have sent it back with out grading it and give a refund. Overworked or not, there are no excuses. p.s. Insane OS2 packs!!!!

Inexcusable that PSA didn't acknowledge their damage to your property. They clipped one of my cards while slabbing it and to their credit they alerted me and offered me $ to the tune of the grade that they had given it(a not too valuable 9), so they can get it right. I believe packs all have to be blessed by Steve at BBCE, so my guess is they go from You to PSA to BBCE and back to PSA which means that they are packed/shipped/unpacked/repacked/shipped/unpacked/repacked/shipped/unpacked/graded&slabbed/shipped back to you. Lots of opportunity for damage there...

I just saw your video. There have been rumors with no proof that they swap out. That grade 4 may not be your original pack. I video record all my submissions so I have proof mine did not go out in the condition they claim.

It seems good that they suspended services. There are so many videos on KZbin about these kinds of issues. And sending out cards to the wrong people. What if it was an OS1 pack. Broken hearts everywhere

Jay Bob & Sons damn that sucks, I only say this because I bought a Sandy Koufax RC, and it was destroyed by the conveyor belt. I received my full refund, but prices doubled within the time I waited for this ordeal was resolved. Now for the same grade card which I purchased ... it’s going for close to $5k in just 2 months time smh 🤦🏻‍♂️

Might be an unpopular opinion but I do not believe there is a way to grade a wax pack. Grading companies made it up and have assigned grades based on nonsense they pulled out of their asses. For the most part, the packs you have submitted are in pristine condition. What made them an 8? Why not a 9 or 10? These packages will have creased corners on them due to the materials used and age of the wrapper. It's unavoidable. For that reason alone (and based on their apparent logic of grading), there cannot be a 10. So that, in turn, makes grading them relatively pointless unless a 9 is seen as the best possibly outcome.

There are in fact no PSA 10 original series gpk packs that I am aware of! Didn't really know that initially. A 9 is like a 10 for these, 8s are like getting 9s. 🤷‍♂️

@@JayBobSons It's crazy, man. I would imagine there wouldn't even be a 10 even if it came hot off the assembly line. Still, you got a great haul there. Series 2 and 3 are both awesome.

Do you submit wax packs that have broken gum pieces in them? Would PSA still grade it even if the wax pack itself is in great condition

I can almost guarantee that your order and someone elses order got mixed up, and you ended up with someone elses PSA4 pack, and they got one of your packs.
