PSA: How your aquarium fish are caught matters!

We are here in Puerto Gaitan deepening our understanding of our industry and it’s relation to it’s people and environments.  it is important to know how and why your Fish are caught and transported. Incredible to see the skill and care our fisherman show when out in the wild!

This guy is catching bait so he can land a bigger fish with hook and line. He took out his spool and handline at the end of the video. There should be real regulations to catching wild fish, seasons, and bag limits. The Zebra pleco is critically endangered due to overfishing for the pet trade. Captive bred is they way to go.

i subscribed, i am in Texas north of Houston about 150 miles on hwy 59 near Nacogdoches. do you import these wild caught fish? and if so do you sell them ?
