The rock that I have have ran with no issues. However, I think PSA paints the s**t out of their gun parts. My dagger had a problem going back into battery the first 2-3 mags. After I cleaned underneath with a brass brush and oiled it, NO problems at all.

Just a theory here and I'm sure no lube was the main cause but might also be the lighted slide when you had a failure to feed the not as much mass flying into battery. Mine was a full weight slide and it did have some factory lube but I had 1000ish rounds threw it before its first cleaning with no isues and it was pretty danm dry before I cleaned it the first time.

At 6:20 what does lube have to do with the firing pin? Honest question because I only lube my rails and barrel I don't put lube in the firing pin area. Can you clarify...

The gun was going close enough to being in battery to allow the striker to release. If it hit the prime while out of battery, that could go very bad

I don't really time the draw. I don't have a dedicated holster for that particular gun. But I am pretty fast with my other guns.

You are using muscle memory from Glock 9mm for the Rock 5.7! You need to practice your Rock 5.7 aim and the way you hold it. It has much less muscle flip and you seem to be anticipating for a muscle flip that does not exist which is the reason you are shooting lower
