Psalm 104:33 has been the 'life verse' of the MCS since we were formed as a choir. As such, many of our friends and supporters have seen this passage printed in our concert posters and souvenir programs since our launch and recently, in all of our virtual choir performances.
Set to music by Ily Matthew Maniano - an MCS alumnus, this composition is an intimate prayer, a peaceful reflection and a strong affirmation of our 𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘥'𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘦. For this virtual choir performance, we are also blessed to be joined by another MCS alumnus, Christian Oliver Cruz who created the digital artwork and illustration especially for this song. This collaboration is a prelude to our 22nd anniversary which we will celebrate in June.
We lovingly dedicate this premiere to all MCS members, past and present. We may all come and go but one thing will remain. More than the accolades and recognition, MCS will continue to exist for a greater purpose, and that is to give glory to God through our singing.

When I learned that we commissioned an Ily Matthew composition, I knew I just had to be a part of this project!! ...and what a masterpiece this has turned out to be indeed! From the signature otherworldy ily Matthew Maniano Composer piece, matched by the choir's heavenly rendition under the patient direction of Maestro William Lloyd Cordero, the inspired artwork by Christian Oliver Cruz , to the creative video editing by Andross Sy - all under the meticulous and dedicated orchestration by the Production Team, MCS's life verse has come alive in a truly world class fashion. Praying the viewers will enjoy this latest MCS offering and join us in giving praise to our God as long as we live. 💕🙏

This is the most-awaited piece for our morning basket hymn!!! What a privilege to be able to keep singing with such talented artists a quarter of a century after the seeds of our friendship were first planted in UP Manila Chorale (dating myself here at usapang student number na rin lang naman sa GC 🤣)... So proud of how far MCS has gone in 22 years and blessed to have formed new friendships in the years I was in and out of circulation, haha..
