Psalm 73:3-19 speaks of this same principle, the seeming prosperity of the wicked. I remember sharing these Scriptures with my youngest when she's struggled with seeing people get by with hurting those who try to live & do right in this life. Thank you for reminding us that God's justice will ultimately make all things right, Steve. So glad you are continuing these devotional videos. They are always encouraging. I've been the victim many times, I'm sure we all have, and watching what's going on out in the world now is just heartbreaking. Maybe less than 20 min. ago I also was thinking about the analogy of a Mama bird wrapping her wings around the baby birds to protect them as to how God covers us in the shadow of his wings. This message that God has the ultimate hand in justice resonates with me, and your words have brought me some peace in my heart..needed that Steve, thank you! Loved watching your Mothers videos and so miss her voice. When I would watch her, cooking, or telling her stories and her interactions with Mr. Bucky, it brought me peace, and laughter. Miss them so much, but so appreciate that you are continuing to bring your stories, and how the Word of God works in your life situations. You're truly Blessed and it makes me happy that you continue these videos, as Mr. Bucky and your sweet Mom are surely smiling down on you. Wow!! This has been on my mind alot! Questioning why God lets people get away with bad things, or treating people in bad ways. Is it my faith im questioning? I dont think so, but i did need to hear this. Sometimes things cant happen soon enough for me. My mother was a deeply religious woman and she would tell me that justice will be served if not in this life then the after life. Thank you!! I look forward to these talks. Thanks Steve !! Thought provoking as usual ! For some reason your message led me to take a look at this from the perspective of the aggressor. Reminded me of a scene from The Outlaw Josee Wales. When the young man shot the villan in the outhouse, then immediately went into deep remorse. His comment was " he had it coming didn't he Jose " ? Jose's reply was " we've all got it coming ".
