I have always felt that this song doesn’t need a soloist over the top. I think it takes away from the power and the beauty of the song. But I felt that way about Cush Houston’s rendition too. This choir really does a beautiful job on this song. Just beautiful.

Not with Mrs Sissy Houston she gave this song air and pressed the oil into it as well as her family member who did the lead vocals during Whitney’s funeral! Infact Whitney voice came out in that women a few times during the lead! I heard it! Go back and watch it and listen for yourself! The right lead vocals are definitely needed.

The choir is trying their best to invite the spirit but they cannot do it alone! The spirit wants to move but it can’t with the weight of the leadership sitting like rocks!
