Brother, you didn't earn the Spirit's presence and work in you in the first place and take heart, there is nothing you can do to undo the Father's calling on you, the Son's sacrifice for you, and the Spirit's regeneration and sanctification of you. Even in your darkest day remember Philippians 1:6 and to be "confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." And because of this promise we have all the more reason to wake up every day and thank, praise, and serve Him.

Scholars disagree. Some believe that David's mother had an affair, that is why David's father did not present him to the prophet as one of his sons but only presented his brothers to the prophet. That is also why David spoke about being rejected by his parents in the Psalms.

Spencer Reborngess Please understand not attacking you, just the doctrine. Please study before responding. Original sin is a false doctrine. It was a doctrine used to propogate such doctrines as infant baptism, limbo, and the immaculate conception. Original sin suggests that we are born WITH sin before we have COMMITED any sin. It says that Adams sin was placed on us. No where in the Bible does it say this. The Bible says through one man, sin ENTERED into the world, yes, but it continues to say that all men die because ALL have sinned not because of that one mans sins. Even in Jesus time, He was constantly correcting this misconception. His disciples asked, who sinned, this man or his parents that he was born blind? Jesus responds "neither". They believed that when someone was born with an ailment that it was possibly due to someone elses sin. Jesus looked to dispel this false thinking. As if God would punish people for crimes they have not committed, punishment thay have not earned. Unfounded, and un-biblical. . If all are declared sinners because all are born under Adam, then think of the implications of this doctrine when applied to Jesus. The Bible says, "Verily he took not on him the nature of angels but the seed of Abraham." Heb. 2:16. "In all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest." Heb. 2:17. "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same." Heb. 2:14. "For we have not an high priest which can not be touched with the feelings of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we, yet without sin." Heb. 4:15. Jesus was born in the same seed as after Abraham note it did not say perfect flesh after Adam. I'm not going to expound on the rest. Just hope it might open your thinking. Hopefully Holy Spirit will speak clarity through these verses. Blessings

Remember King David knew that YHVH was our Redeemer HE forgives us for our sins, it didn't take a mediator. David wasn't praying to anyone but the ONE God YHVH. There was no "'Jesus". Huh? And what did all of Israel and Judah do for forgiveness when they were carted off to Assyria and Babylon? They had no access to the Temple then--surely righteous Daniel wasn't condemned to hell, what did Haddassah do without the Temple, she had the people fast and pray? Did YHVH listen? What did they do to be forgiven --J had not been here and died yet. There are many things that do not line up. Do not take what you have been told all of your life as 'gospel truth'. All of us were not there to see what really happened. We can ascertain that the Messiah is NOT YHVH. There is only ONE GOD. YHVH says it over and over---He is not MAN that He would lie.
