The best thing about the Jesus movement of the early 70 were the scripture songs. I so appreciate your music and simple purity of your voices. Thank you Jesus for this group~

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the true God, because the bible says that. The bible is the word of God. God sent Jesus to earth to die for our sins on the cross and He is sitting in heaven right now on His throne.
I keep coming back to this song. Proclaim that he saves.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today is December 24. It is Christmas Eve. Tonight, this psalm will either be read, recited, or sung in a lot of churches around the world. Tonight, the prophecy is fulfilled. Jesus enters the world tonight. Hope that everyone reading this has a Blessed Christmas.

While I love this song... The birth of Yeshua of Nazareth - aka Jesus had nothing to do with Christmas Eve. Christmas is a recycled pagan festival. God's holy days to celebrate are in the bible... Christmas is not one.

With friends like innovation HQ, Amidat, and Henrik Seim, who needs enemies? Chill out, guys. Faithful Christian brothers and sisters disagree on the regulative principle. Besides, each one of us who belong to Jesus is a "recycled pagan" person. If our Lord were, in principle, opposed to adopting pagan things, all hope would be lost for us.
@Teelier4 жыл бұрын
David Goetz David Goetz I don’t believe that to be entirely true. Yahweh clearly tells us to abstain from paganism, to not follow in their ways. We have desensitized our faith, making holidays that are about us and not Yeshua! Obviously the church as a whole have strayed FAR from His word, allowing all sorts of sin to permeate the body of Yeshua! It is better to be obedient and keep Yahweh’s commands. I say this as just becoming awake as a lifelong “Christian”. I feel like I have been reborn all over again with his feasts! We are to celebrate Him, not false gods in these pagan/satanic, man-made holidays. The more we celebrate his appointed days and walk in obedience the less we miss the empty holidays. Shalom

In righteousness and truth.. the Lord looks upon the truth of what really is. What really was.. and what will really be. The Lord knows how wicked the human heart can really be and all that takes place in the secret places and when people think noone is around. He sees and knows a person's past.. he knows the things they have had to contend with. All of this is weighed and taken into consideration.. he sees the person who has been honest and the person who had lied against others falsely.. he knows the reasons for both. Always looking upon the actual reality not just what seems to be or the false facades that people give or the excuses they use for why they have done what they have. The Lord understands their is many things to be taken into account.. he also knows what his own desire is when it comes to the going forward.. the Lord sees those who have been oppressed.. he sees those who have come against another unfairly, unjustly and for their own gain. The Lord is watching those who claim his own name very carefully.. the Lord knows all the secret deals that were made in the dark. The Lord can show favour wherever he so chooses. He can cast his judgements wherever he so sees fit. The Lord is the judge of wickedness.. and the wickedness of a so called holy man who had hidden and not confessed their truth is much more wicked in the eyes of God than the unbeliever, for one knows or should know better for having known the Lord.

Thank you for the lyrics and the beautiful way that you laid them out; fits perfectly with the rhythm of the song 🎵 🎶 ❤ I teach a class at church periodically on the story behind how & why songs of praise & hymns were written. I always open with a musical psalm and most times it is done by the Sons of Korah. Bless you for this service.

do you think the line later in the song that says Worship the Lord Thou and Tremble in Awe now....... etc. the lyric that says Worship the Lord in the Splendor of all of His holy REIGN is right? A few people have mentioned to me that it is ARRAY... not REIGN... In the splendor of all of his Holy ARRAY.... It does sound like he says that, but every lyric on the internet says Holy Reign... thoughts?
@EdThePastor7 жыл бұрын
Sandy Bourgeois perhaps. there is really not a good source for their lyrics online and their sheet music is a bit pricy for a non musician like myself. I usually listen to them over and over until I get them right. Not inconceivable I made a mistake
@beestronger17 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for your response. I completely appreciate that you put all the lyrics up and played the music and I was able to listen to it enough untill I got all the cords down. Our church is going to be able to play this song and bless others so thank you so very much appreciate your response again
@EdThePastor7 жыл бұрын
It is a little difficult to tell exactly what the words are given the sections arrangement and soft vocals. If you go to their web site you can purchase the music with the cords and lyrics. I choose the Reign based on the old MARK I ear and in Psalm 96:10 it says Reign. The Sons of Korah do not follow the exact wording of all the Psalms and I don't think they intend to, I sure wish they would post their lyrics on their site as I have found a lot of discrepancy in what is sung, reported as lyrics and what the particular Psalm says in my NASB. God bless
