Psalms 16 (Bengali)

Psalm 16 is a psalm that expresses the idea that God's protection is the ultimate source of rest, and that security and satisfaction come from God, not human accomplishments or material wealth. The psalm also supports resurrection, and identifies God as the creator, supporter, and protector of life for those who trust in him.
The psalm is titled "A Michtam of David", which is commonly understood to mean "golden". Other interpretations include a word related to "to cover". The psalms with this title are written from times of peril, and Psalm 16 discusses the benefits of a life-commitment to God.
