1st time here. Watching from Can 🇨🇦. Happy birthday to your FIL. 🎉 Im sure he will love his new blanket. Psalm 23 a comforting verse too! The rejected blue fabric is a French Toile probably drapery weight? The drawings on it tell a story. Not sure which one you have . Country folks living life maybe. It would be a pretty sturdy baby blanket. Tyfs 🩷
