What an outstanding overview of the new synchrony speaker lineup. I am disappointed I couldn't watch live due to being at work. As a mechanical engineering technologist and audio enthusiast myself, I love to hear of the tireless attention to detail and extreme passion Paul Barton has for PSB's products! That is truely a trait that I see less and less in the engineering and design world. I will never purchase a speaker from another manufacturer, as PSB speakers always have some naturalism and sound of ease about them that I have not heard from other speakers anywhere near their price point. Congratulations on the release of an outstanding line of products! I look forward to hearing them, and maybe having the opportunity to some day own them myself.

I have Imagine T3 speakers and have upgraded all my front end up to PS Audio BHK Pre, M1200 mono amps they reveal every improvement easily they do need power but once set up correctly they just disappear with great bass and imaging. I will never change them

I missed the live event due to work commitments but great event Guys. Paul did an excellent Zoom event with our Arizona Audio Video Club last year. Damn, now I need $8k USD. Those Speakers 🔊 are truly a Tweakers Paradise. I want a pair !

I recently purchased a pair of B 600's to replace the XB's I had been using for rear surrounds. Unfortunately because my processor is out to lunch, I can't listen to them. They make a nice addition to the other 12 PSB's in two different systems! Yea,........you could say I like PSB's.

Mr. Barton mentioned the speaker can do bi-wire and short the bottom woofer. Can anyone explain more in details? Thanks.

Hard to believe that these would actually sound better than the T3s. Looks more like a case of simpler production line, i.e. more surplus. The Imagine towers were so fancifully sculpted they required a long CFC proces and lamination to build. This is a box

All speakers need to be run in not with sine wave but with music all kinds at different levels over a period of 2 months i did this with my klh kendalls and they are singing very well

Why ditch the curved cabinet design?

Probably the Chinese manufacturing had a lot of trouble making curved cabinets in the past. PSB shut one of their plants there recently probably because of too many issues.

It’s costly to make those curved cabinets. I’m sure it was to keep cost affordable. I have the T3 with the teardrop design and love the look of them in cherry wood. I always get compliments on them.

As a B&W owner, that is high praise for PSB spks. As i usually prefer the sonic signature & value proposition of british spks, i was wowed by 2 canadian spks. The are namely verity audio & PSB. I heard the original synchrony many yrs back & recall being rather impressed by it. I find its sonic signature rather similar to british spks but with more dynamic & punchy bass. A friend of mine heard the stratus gold & told me PSB is hugely underrated. I would be keen to check out the current B600 as i dun have a large listening room. I have seen Paul Barton in several interviews & he always come across aa someone who is extremely knowledgeable yet humble & approachable. 👍

In my humble opinion, Paul Barton is the best speaker designer on the globe. If the Stratus Gold were revived with these updated carbon fiber drivers, I would immediately acquire them. I will probably still buy a set of the B600.

@@xsamitt not yet but still on my radar. I acquired 3 pair of Tyler's and a set of Dali Oberon 9. B600 is likely my next stand mount.
