I liked the idea of this lighter, easier to press, brailler for my student with cerebral palsy. The letter keys were easier for his affected hand and rolling the paper in and out was easier with the flat knobs. The whole thing is easier to transport being so much lighter. Drawbacks were: The person who normally provided maintenance on our braille writers didn't know what to do with them. Just like the classic, keep the cover on, keep the dust out and don't drop it!
