I do think people have this weird misconception that “Persona 1 sucks” or everyone thinks it’s the “weakest Persona game” but I think those people tend to conflate the vocal minority with the majority. If you actually look around a majority of people love Persona 1 lol.

The psp version strips the game of the unique visual and musical storytelling, intricate atmosphere and sound design,incredible soundscape and brilliant score that all weaves together to create an magically immersive experience that is Megami Ibunroku: Persona. If the Persona 3 remake rumors are real I hope they remake P1/2 next since those are the games that really need it.

I can say for certain that while the majority of the OST is not up on the channel the full version of You Are Stronger and the credits theme are not in the game rip files so I will have to get those when someone makes the actual OST available. I am a little baffled as to what is holding up the release of the OST considering the P5R OST was all over the internet within 24hr of its release, yet the P5S OST is nowhere to be found; and we are now 2 days past release (3 in Japan).

For your reference, Ninja Kuma (just after beating the second monarch when the chat reminded him) and Runebee played the game with the Random Battle BGM enabled. Bunnytails and CohnCarnage listened to the BGMs and didn't enable the option, I think the latter turned it on eventually. I'm a little bitter that some of the KZbinrs who got the game + DLC either never discovered the option or chose to limit themselves with just 2 songs.
