This would’ve been an upset if you look at the point spread. But, Akron also is one of the worst FBS teams in the country and they lose to FCS teams every once in a while so it still would’ve been an upset, but I wouldn’t have been surprised if Morgan State did win.

I'm a diehard fan of a MWC school that is struggling immensely right now (probably not a hard guess) and I'll never give up on my team. Sure. They will never win a national championship and will most likely never play in a NY6 Bowl Game, but I still watch bc I love football and they're my team. Just like these Akron fans and the fans of all the lesser known schools. Good for them. IIRC, Akron was really bad a few years back. Like went winless for almost 2 years or something. Always feels great when they deliver a win. 🦘

That was by far the dumbest play calling I’ve ever seen in my life. 54 seconds left, 3rd and 9, and Akron had NO TIMEOUTS LEFT! YOU TAKE A KNEE and if there’s a few seconds left and it’s 4th down just snap it, try to waste time, and then go down. Absolutely ridiculous play calling on that

They wanted the first down to really end it. He just fumbled at a bad time, not a bad play call. A pass would been a bad play call. This is just an elaborate way to take a knee with the possibility for a first down. There's plenty of examples where taking knees too early backfires anyway. I mean I do think your way is valid too, just don't think this was a bad way either, just defense made a big play, happens sometimes
