That's My favorite riser design I've seen. The beauty of simplicity. Looks like bone, Or antlers. Very organic, flowing lines. High Tech. Primitive look. I like it a lot, and love the Designers. Thanks

Doesn't beat the Hoyt Carbon matrix/element imho. It is best looking out of all current carbon bows though.

Super sweet bow. Harvested a nice 6x6 bull with mine a couple weeks ago. Had shoulder surgery end of February. Went from a few shots with bowtech to over a hundred with this.This bow has super smooth draw cycle.

Great video! I'd like to see you do a review of the 2023 PSE Omen & see what you rhink of it. I purchased one about a month ago & I really like it & I always love your bow reviews.

Loving the razor shave, Steve! It really suits you and looks badass.

Haven't finished watching this yet but it is definitely not twitchy once set up IMO. So many people assumed it would be and there are so many guys that don't like short ATA bows and wound up loving the Mach30. But the 33 is going to top all charts!

Have you got a Shootdown Pro you could review? Be nice to get your view on it as a do it all bow, 3D and hunting.

Sorry with the SE2 cam.

Just for everyone watching @2:40 The numbers shouldn't match, but add up to 220. But, to be fair, they could have numbered matching pairs the same. I think PSE just made sure they could change the spacing, you might need to add up to a different amount on later bows with the same shims.

Man it's genuienly hard for me to wrap my head around. If you're going to spend 1500 on a bow, I hope the individual is choosing the bow out based on how it fits them... not who is professionally shooting the bow. You're still getting a PSE Bow. Sure this or that might be slightly different than their overall flagship line up, but they still shoot the same and kill the same.

It would be good with the E2 Cam for longer draw archers if you can get a custom version. No doubt faster with the more aggressive cam as well.

Still shooting the PSE DNA X-Force. Draw cycle getting a little ruff now that I’m older. Those Cams don’t look as aggressive as the cams on the DNA may see if a local shop has one I can test out.

It's a night and day difference in the cams. Not as fast but you can pull out your old bow periodically. You'll love it

Hi Steven, any word on when the 60lb PSE Evolve DS 33's will be in? Great review as always.
@shortbuslife34402 ай бұрын
As you stock a few Chinese bows, do you have the Shengsuan Dawn X6? If so could you do a review on that? It is also a carbon bow but considerably cheaper and more suited to an archer that wants more poundage adjustment going from 0-70lbs with 36" A-A and 7" brace plus it looks very similar in design to this bow.

and you mention about that PSE shootdown, i think you should re-review that bow 😅

Hey Steven, just want to ask. Do you have an Evolve 30 DS to compare? And, what about the Evolve 33DS? Any suggestions? One more question...do you ship to Austria (the Australia without Kangaroos in Europe) ;-)
@nicolaalberti77362 ай бұрын
I'm afraid shipping and customs costs would be very expensive. Cheers from Italy.

Hate how PSE has done ya man. Remember how many stingers you were slinging out the door first few years they were made. Wish I had a local dealer like you.

Hoyt Carbon is carbon wrapped around aluminium 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@americanbigfoot78812 ай бұрын
That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Could be advantages to that. All I know is Hoyt Carbon bows has had a great reputation for many years and they’re the only brand I’ve seen advertised driving over their bow with an F150 and picking it up and shooting it. I run multiple archery groups on FB and I’ve seen many brands get broken risers from accidents but not really any Hoyt’s. I’ve seen Mathews risers snap clean. People get too fixated on the carbon weight thing and there’s so much more to carbon than that. Carbon has nearly 4x the tensile strength as aluminum It’s less thermal reactive It’s less prone to bending and maintains its original shape. And yes in most cases, it can be lighter because it’s stronger. I buy Carbon bows because they’re stronger, not because of weight. I don’t want a super light bow because they’re twitchy.
@JW-bw8nj2 ай бұрын
I actually prefer a slightly heavier bow as they are usually more stable. I have more trouble keeping the sight pins on my lighter compounds still.
