I find it curious that all reviews that are truly independent find the Levitate's draw cycle to be very aggressive/harsh, the valley to be pretty short, and overall find the bow no fun to shoot. However, the reviews from people that are influenced in some way by PSE seem to downplay the characteristics of the new cams as just a little more aggressive or just a little different of a valley. The first bow I truly loved is my PSE NTN. I have no affiliation of influence from ANY company. When I shot the Levitate @ 30.5", 70lbs, I was shocked with how harsh/aggressive the draw cycle is, how different the valley felt, and the amount of hand shock compared to my NTN. I shot it 20-30 times trying to love it, but it just wasn't for me.

I thought I was pretty transparent about that. I tend to lean positive in my reviews for all companies so maybe that’s my true bias. You should expect more vibration from the Levitate vs. the NTN especially shooting it bare bow. It’s more than a pound lighter and faster. That being said, with full kit attached it had less vibration IMO.

Archery Supplies did a review of the Levitate as well and commented on the draw cycle being harsh . Half way through the review he was laughing at how well it shot and how accurate it was and was still smiling and laughing till the end . Everyone is different...

Yea man, bringin that “A” game intro! Looks like PSE found a use for all their old Full Throttle cams.
@sinepari9160 Жыл бұрын
Ugh, they may look the same but no way are the same haha. I had a full throttle and still have the riser/cams. It's no longer strung and I'm not sure I'll ever restring it. It was brutal at 70 but would outrun any 2023 bow no doubt. That bow has about 2'' more brace height than the full throttle.

Any issues with the past parallel limb bows like the Levitate creeping out of the EZ Green Press? Do you think its necessary to have the limb adaptors?
@KnightsoftheApex8 ай бұрын
PSE says to back off the limbs to 60# before pressing. I never did that and haven’t had issues but I don’t over press my bows. I would recommend just getting the adapter. It’s worth the piece of mind.

Please compare the RX7 and the Levitate
@KnightsoftheApex Жыл бұрын
Both are great. The Levitate is lighter and gives you more cam options to cater to a particular style. The RX7 balances out a little easier thanks to the PIC Rail.

Great review . How close do you think it was to IBO ??
@KnightsoftheApex2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately my chrono is busted. According to it, it was either shooting 240 or 340… me thinks the truth is somewhere in the middle. From what I’ve heard it’s on par with what you would expect from a 348 IBO bow though.
@darrind86972 жыл бұрын
Thanks . I'm really interested in this bow just torn between 70 and 60 lol . Want the 70 but sitting in a stand in the freezing cold for hours and then drawing 70 if its harsh worries me a bit . cheers

@@darrind8697 easier to crank a 70 down to 60 compared to getting new 70 limbs for your 60

King of the Carbons ? Not with this E2 cam. Not to mention it's a carbon stick with a slit in the riser top and bottom. Why can't PSE make a bow riser into a carbon, like something off the EVL riser ?

Depends what your looking for. Speed sure. But shoot ability, hoyt rx7 ultra

Shootability: [adv] a term invented by marketing departments of bow manufactures that make slow bows. The RX7 is great though. Nothing bad to say about it except add a tuning method.

Are there any bows with the S2 cam? Haven't seen any yet.
